2.
I told my drinking companions about a piece I'd written in which two or more voices sing exactly the same melody (and may continue repeating it indefinitely), but with each voice beginning at different times so that different parts of the melody coincide in the different voices, but nevertheless fit harmoniously together. They just said it was my round.
was the pub called 'The Cannon' by any chance?

 16.
Nice to see him playing live. Lovely homage to his late brother - he always had a great sense of melody. He'll hate me for saying it but the live version of 'Adventures' contains some of the most sublime guitar playing ever.
the 'live in the air age' version ? agreed the guitar work on Return to Jazz of Lights is amazing too especially Fearless Beauty

 23.
count them cuts, one, two, three. not sure what it's good for playing sorry, but I bet orangatangs can get the most from them
thats great ... just needs a few more sharp pointy bits and a respray or wait ... maybe a quadruple cut? now that would be good
 24. is there such a thing as a treble cut? there must be one somewhere and undoubtedly a whole degree of magnitude better than a double cut ... i bet it's good for metal
 25.
Yeah I think that might be the answer, It was fine when I tested it in the shop then a couple of days later the buzz came back... Maybe I have bigger problems with this bass
how long did they keep it when they did the setup? if the shop did a largish adjustment all in one go then it will take up the intial adjustment immediately but will still be stretching and settling over the next couple of days a friend of mine who is very good with setups usually asks to keep the bass/guitar for 4 or 5 days and will tweak it a bit each day rather than do one large adjustment in a single day - when i do my own setups i tend to do the same, small adjustments and leave it a day - if it needs more the next day i'll give it another half turn and let it settle, and repeat over a few days until it ends up where you want it
