TRB1004J - they are supposed to be about 800 new but you can often pick them up in good condition preloved for about 3-400 (i got mine on fleabay 2 years ago for 380 absolute mint and unused) if you find an early series japanese TRB-4 like that gorgeous blue one which was sold recently on here please let me know ASAP if you like 'burp-tone' TRB is the way to go

we didnt have a school bass but i do recall the school cello - when i did some bass stuff at school it was with my own black shaftesbury (single-cutaway) LP
