1.
We only get £300 for a pub gig but there's a band who have started undercutting everyone else and playing for £150 which is annoying every other band who have always had an unwritten rule to charge similarly. I suppose it's up to them but we feel that it's kind if cheating to get more gigs
Shops or businesses which try this tactic usually learn the hard way and very fast that this method is usually doomed to failure
2. i have a line 6 bass pod which you can use as a headphone practice amp although you would possibly also need a small mixer of some kind for a second audio stream or if you have an iphone or ipad there is always the garage band / amplitube type solution?
3. +1 for the stanley blade shave - very gently isopropyl alcohol and a decent microfibre cloth works well too deffo no soap and water
4.
... the rest are a nightmare, IMO
haha i wont bother pushing them any more for a gig then - been emailing/phoning them for two years now offering our musicular services

10. also depends on what model Gretsch you are thinking of swapping and its condition i could think of some gretsch's that would be worth at least four or five of these
11. And he has sense of humour too
12. has there been a thread before discussing how comes there is such a fundamental and distinct difference in tone between the two when they are so similar in shape?
13.
I said it on page 1 but I'll repeat it on page 2. If you haven't tried a Jazz wired in series you're missing out. Beefy.
is it easy to fit a series/parallel switch?
14. i dont have a P but i do have 4 J's
15.
Initial opinion - the rhythm section are a bit skittish. IMO.
too many where the bass drums and guitar are almost in unison but often not quite listening through the styles of the tracks would be fairly straightforward to come up with some busy but fundamental bass lines without duplicating the guitar or vice cersa make the bass take the riff and let the guitarist loose but on the whole not too shabby and bags of potential id say
16. well in that case i tip my hat if you can sing and play at the same time leaves me feeling dizzy just thinking about it
17.
Car is big enough but i also have half the PA and lights in my car
isnt that what singers are for??
18.
When I was using two 410s I got them both into a VW Polo.
such a tiny hole! well done you!
19. think you might need a hydrive 115 because the XL and VX TPs are only rated about 300-350w iirc ?? i use a vx115 with a hydrive 410 but am only using ha2500 head at the moment but it definitely does pull the extra power out of the head ed - what car do you have? i managed to get both cabs in a kia picanto and a peugeot 106 comfortably
20. +1 for the mahogany -1 for the beech
