Most decent DIY or electrical shops sell earth testing plugs they should be about a fiver. I had similar problem and it was caused by faulty earth connection in wall socket which will affect all other sockets on the same ring main http://www.groundology.co.uk/earthing/accessories
Are you talking about my Blue Burst ASAT? Interesting , I have just started gigging with it again. I used it last night and it was fun to play especially with the active pre-amp on. I purchased it used a few years ago for $500.00 mint condition Blue
are you sure you need that gold top? -
go for wordpress - most hosts will have it set up ready to install - but as JT says you will most likely pay more for local installs of apps also check the whole package - the price may look lower in comparison to others but some will possibly include domain name registration - or if they dont they might be charging less for the hosting but raking it back by charging an over-inflated price if you register a domain through them
I've still never played a Mexican Fender that I'd pay any sort of money for. I've played two US Fenders that have been sublime, the rest distinctly average. Every Squire I've played has been good to excellent though. In fact when I bought my Squire VM jazz a few weeks ago I tested it against a US Fender with a mind to buy a Fender if it was head and shoulders above the Squire. Other than being a bit lighter and having a slightly sweeter sound (due to the custom shop pickups) the Squire was by far the better bass.
+1 maybe part reason they created a rod for their own back with the Squier's being 'too good' ?
Thanks folks to be honest that's what I thought everyone would say , so I'll keep my squire I've a practise amp so I'm ok there also no neighbours so I can practise whenever I like .not really clued up on effects and things like that. May use the money to get more lessons probably the best idea.
if the squire is nice enough and you spend a modest 50-80 quid on a decent set of pups you probably wont want/need to splash out on an expensive bass for a while imho mcton etc etc -
Is there any way of reducing or eliminating the sound transfer into the lower flats? Something I can put under the amp perhaps.
play geeetar on a serious note on the mattress of bed or sofa cushions seems to isolate it quite nicely hope this helps
No, they're a well-chosen colour. You can step in all sorts of stuff and no one will know it was you. Apart from the smell of course.
Well it does come in handy being naturally smelly

i do feel that there is generally a lot of confusion between technical excellence and showmanship (not with us discerning lot on here i hasten to add!) - and where does one stop and the other start? imho the best technical guitarists around are coincidentally ones who are the least flashy - all the showboating is often intentionally or unintentionally at the expense of technical excellence - entertaining it may be but bit its like a big mac meal and usually leaves you wanting something of substance some manage to straddle the border and sit on the fence and tease us with showboating on minute then blinding us with technical expertise the next - its all a matter of taste and there is no accounting for it personally i cant get my head around how any guitarist can squeal with delight at malsteen fretw***ing himself into oblivion, and be completely uninspired by the likes of holdsworth or fripp - but i guess it would be boring if we were all the same - it would be like a bland musical version of 'new labour's diversity and inclusivity where everybody would be joint equal number one in the charts all time regardless of whether or not they can play the bloody thing
Mo Foster made one of these in the early '70s for finger-style practice. Carried it in his pocket, must have found it useful.
what for? squashing spiders?
