3.
For that type of event and line-up..I would say 14:00 is not that bad a time.. For many festivals, it is as much about the time slot rather than the 'prestige' fo going on late. Hope it goes well.... if the weather is good..the crowd will be there by that time, I'd suggest
the time slot is virtually superfluous when you take into account the unpredictable nature of the weather especially if youre at a festival where there is a stage inside a large marquee one minute you might have 50-100 peeps watching your band - next minute is pissing down and the entire crowd is rammed inside the marquee!

 8. we had a similar discussion once in a thread about those fast running disco octaves in donna summer numbers and my suggestion which many concurred with is that you actually need to relax more on the playing but 'think ahead' more on the timing until it all clicks and falls into place

 10. Seeing them back when at wembley arena I seem to recall a whole row of bass cabs/monitors across the entire width of stage and PA possibly being something to do with the live bass tone

 20. sorry to all the kiss fans for being harsh but watching his left hand looks like he only picked up the bass for the first time 70 minutes ago rather than been playing since the 70s - whilst not expecting berlin or pattitucci levels of technique is it not reasonable to expect that after 40 plus years of playing his left hand would demonstrate at least some finesse regardless of the complexity of the lines he is playing?
 21. whilst stumbling around youtube this evening i just found this and i thought i would post it for mister milty's delight and delectation of a rather smashing example of simple stuff being played in the most exquisitiely expressive manner sorry its not bass .... again ... but it is paul jackson jr
