2. ^^^ Jeez, I'm not sure I'd admit to that..... She did wiggle nicely didnt she! (IIRC)
3. Nothing much beats a good P....... Actually thats where I'm orf to now, courtesy of Grolsh beer!
4. ^^^^ Like the dude says......
5. I was in the mkt for a P/J P earlier this year..... I ended up getting one (a custom shop bblah blah), however this was one I looked at.. I played one at Sound Control and was blown away..... Yes it works..... it has some great flexibility and is well loud.... My guitarist talked me out of it because it is MIM, using the argument that if you buy a Fender buy 1 that will go up in value....... I kinda wish I'd got that Bello bass....Why? Well the 1 I bought cost twice as much, and is in its HSC under my bed not being played, and does it sound any better than that Bello P? Nope..... My advice FWIW, is ..... If you like it (try playing 1st if you can) get one you wont be dissapointed..... If you dont like it give me first dibs on it when you decide to blow it away!
6. NB. Wizard are s'posed to be good custom jobbies...... However if you cant wait, check out the Schaller J pups..... at http://www.touchstonetonewoods.co.uk/ttwp50.html they're £72 but they are the dogs...... The P pup in my Ibanez is sweeeeet.....

I'm going to take it appart to slavage what I can then throw it in the rubish tip.
Have you started to do that yet? If not PM me I mite take it off your hands non-working!
8. WH--- You cant get Roadie Wrenches can you? If you can I can see me doing a lot of x-mas shopping with you!!
9. Just looks like a tired old P bass to me.... You would PAY someone to do that to your bass??? Whatever....
10. I guess it could be a copy of this, which is odd but then may have some value to some! http://www.d-a-d.dk/photos/19911122/2/
11. Check these folks out... I like them! http://www.touchstonetonewoods.co.uk/ttwp1.html
12. Welcome to the (mad) house.... I guess a post in the for sale section with sale/swap mite float your boat... good luck!
13. The Br wont let you overdub ( if I undertand what you mean by that). You can record more complete tracks on top..... I record drum tracks and then my bass parts on mine and then convert them to MP3. But sample and put in better played parts ( which is what I think you mean ) then you want a programme like Garage Band or similar. It all gets rather complicated then, BUT if you get the hang of it the sky they say is your limit. But for simple recording the Br is excellent, I love mine...
14. And what is in your stable? I guess the toys listed in your sig? If so its not surprising your underwhelmed! Yams are fabulous fer what they cost and thats the whole point. For what they cost they play way above their relative value..... Can they be bettered? of course they can.... but then so can Japanese cars, hi- fis, the list goes on.... You'll never get excited about owning one but it wont let you down and it will be excellent value for money.... Was my Yam anywhere near as good as my PRSs... of course it wasnt but then it cost less than 10% of the PRS.
15. Thats about right, its not mega cheap....... It does a few dents and dings as its been used, so fair price really....!
16.
Jings! That certainly passes the Mull of Kintyre Test, eh? Or do we call that a fail?
Just a thought, it depends if its right of left handed?
17. I wonder if Mates make a gig bag for it?
18.
Its a fake....Fender didn't start fitting pubes to basses until well into the 80s.
LMFAO!!!!!!
19. Even if it is genuine..... he must've been sniffing lines of something if he expects to get that for it! surely??
20. Do..... I got the whole electrics for one of my re builds from them whilst I got the other components to save on postage. They have them !
21.
I've been using D'addario Chromes (45-100) flats on my 74' p-bass for a while, it sounds great. It feels like flats were made for this bass (or vice-versa!).
+1 for my P-bass! Also My PRS and Ibanez......!!!!!
22. Flats have to have slightly more tension to get the correct pitch so there will be a slight t-rod sdjustment going from rounds to flats, and guages work roughly the same as a guage change in roundies!
23.
Listen to 'I don't trust myself (With loving you)' by John Mayer on iTunes or something - Pino tweaks some lovely little pops out of his P bass, and is a great example of how it can be the most funky sound imagineable!
Ped, You da man....... I'm well into JM and Continuum is the dogs danglies and trying to pick up PPs basslines is challenging as there are some real sublte little bits in here and there..... Those little pops are a little finger tweak.... Gravity, is a particular favorite of my guitarist and me, and we're getting it pretty tight now!
24. try these geezers.... They are really quick and will keep postage prices down if you ask them..... (mind you with our postie freinds taking action it could bea hit and miss with normal postage) http://www.touchstonetonewoods.co.uk/
25. "only if you take me in your funky jet powered car, and let me play with your interceptor!!!"
