24.
Wasnt the Jag s'posed to be the 'ultimate' bass at the time, a higher quality bass?
^^^ Sudden rush of 5hit to the brain! ----------My apologies---- and indeed it was the guitar that was the 'ulitmate Fender" back in the 60's Just goes to show why I'm not a dyed in the wool Fender head!!! The Jag bass is a 2006 design (although there was a Jag Baritone way back when!) Thankfully the rest of that above post wasnt cr4p and still stands....! Thank you JLP form making me look it up..... (Blue book bashing time again) Bl88dy Fender, why cant they make a couple of models and be done with it.....
 25. Wasnt the Jag s'posed to be the 'ultimate' bass at the time, a higher quality bass? I would guess then that the wood would be better selected..... As to Jap re-issues, you are caught in the trap of 'best available at the time'..... All MIJs are very nicley made, however a good J re-issue could well be, nicer than a Jag re-issue..... Not much help, I'm afriad.....
