  1. 1977 when the BB range launched. They had a direct copy of a P bass called a PB400 in previous years...
  2. it's arrived!!!
  3. now due Monday....
  4. UPS have it in the UK - looks like it came in via tilbury last night
  5. it's ok - it's an amazing album. (don't think Thundercat played a Yamaha on it though)
  6. every time Al write yammy it makes King Kunta go through my head!
  7. So there’s at least two then
  8. I think, if I wasn't married, I would go for lasses closer to my age to be honest.
  9. seeing as the first items on his wikipedia discography are from after the first Yamaha BB came out.... I doubt it. Did you have any input in design of the AK47? Out of interest - if we all were having this discussion in a pub do you verbally call Yamaha "Yammy" as well as write it?
  10. we took control of our borders, money and laws, and now have sovereignty to declare our own idea of how time works without being told so by anybody. Celebrate it!
  11. You don’t see them that often though for sale. The one you sold was beautiful
  12. One of the few bass makers I’ve not tried but want too.
  13. I've heard Owen's - it was beautiful sounding.
  14. Not sure I've posted this pics in this thread?! 1999 and I added a East Uni Pre because... um I really didn't like the Bart pre. It's pretty good
  15. Now this Friday - but marked with DELAY
  16. you've made three of them???! Impressive
  17. I was about to say the same thing. I had a fretless for a while, and I don’t think fretless is a thing in the music I listen too, so possibly I should have started with my technique - but I realised I was having to focus really hard to play and sound exactly like I normally do (but slightly out of tune) ive given my basses to other people To play and they sound incredible. probably shows the weak link in my gear!
  18. I should recognise them shouldn’t I?
  19. Now due the Thursday After next
  20. Cars is down to Covid
  21. Nah - not saying that. Never sell that one, like even if you got back what you got for it you would spend multiple times that over the next ten years trying to find another P that suits! (or you will be so made up with your Wal you won’t need a P...)
  22. It’s sound really fits your playing
  23. I’ll just leave this here from the release notes for 3.0- there’s always going to be one person getting the wedgie! HX Stomp's simultaneous block count has been increased from six to eight. IMPORTANT! Although HX Stomp now has two additional block locations, this doesn't mean it magically has more DSP horsepower to accommodate those blocks. Don't be surprised if you're not able to fill all eight blocks with exactly what you want, especially considering the new polyphonic pitch models take up a lot more DSP. We've taken note of those who've bemoaned HX Stomp's 6 block limit, and if the same person now complains about running out of DSP with 8 blocks, we're sending hooligans to their home to administer an atomic wedgie.
