see I don't mind that, I can always tell you to F off, or up it to Monster munch or something .

this really annoys me. "I'm too lazy to actually make you a lower offer - but I want you to lower your asking price" I've no problem about lower offers, I can just say no, or make a counter offer - but "what's your best price" is just lazy and grrrr

Hi - welcome to the forum. Bit of an odd first post... its cash converters- there’s decades of posts on basschat of stolen guitars being found there Or similar shops... the famous example being Scott’s Moollon being sold by cash generators...

It looks lovely - it's defiantly the second nicest bass in that pic!

how does it know? If you clear your cache will it work? -
if you're looking for bang for buck... see if @warwickhunt still has the Hughes and Kettner Bassbase 600 he was selling a while back. I would throw that in there as an option, not as sexy and desirable as EBS but I like the H&K sound. (I've got the QT600)

true story... years back I found the last Tecamp 210 in guitar guitar... it was already dirt cheap as they had done an end of line sell off and it had avoided going on the website and just sat in store. The only other tecamp item was a "pleasure pump" amp... I asked nicely what it was and the guy told me the price... I had no use for it. When I went to pay the assistant was chatting to the manager about it and he just stuck it ontop of my cab... "I can't afford that too" I said ... "just take it" which was really nice, what he didn't know was I was taking the cab, and now the amp home half way up Crow Road on foot and public transport. Almost killed me

(As usual) I agree with both Beedster and AndyTravis To be honest I think that PB62-70 on here would be the pick of the bunch. I'm trying work out how you figure considering buying from Japan, currency transfers, shipping, VAT, Import duty, fees and the like; will be simpler than working out with a fella in Nottingham possible ways of getting a bass.... return London to Nottingham as low as £26...

you talking about this? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Porter-and-Davies-BC2-KT-Bass-Guitar-Monitoring-system-Platform/324341614323?hash=item4b844446f3:g:eDkAAOSwXTVfjth5 is that the equivalent to the tecamp pleasure board?

see I would love to read that... but I'm not sure enough to buy it!

You should own a P bass at least once in your life! I’m pretty Sure that’s in the bible too

it's mocking up on a Sadowsky jazz so not 100% the same- but this PDF I made uses both aged and non-aged colours. **OPEN IN ACROBAT - NOT BROWSER!** Bass_config_SadowskyWL_v1.1.pdf EDIT: I made use of Manchester guitar tech as a starting point for colours, but the shell pink and aged sea foam I think I sampled from elsewhere...

that video is referenced and critiqued in the video that @bass_dinger posted above, both worth watching

how do I un see that?

If you want to know what CCM will sound like in 3-5 years time listen to whatever Coldplay are doing now

Quite - what kinda sound are you actually looking for? there’s two valid reasons I think for buying a bass- 1) Gas - you just want it, you don’t know why but you just do. Whether a colour combination, or a specific model you want have one to try out and cross something off the Bucket list. 2) a specific sound, useage or tone you want. I’ve no idea which way you are going with your short list - but my advice is get your bucket list out and follow the GAS!

pretty sure the seller is a basschatter...

I was once accused of both overplaying and having too much bass in the amp when I had the volume off!
-
Some of that I wonder is deliberate - Imagine whatever the next greatest worship song is, and then they get thundercat to play bass or equivalent... Thirty people in a school drama studio are going to struggle to play that - keep it to C, G, D and maybe a Em if you want and it makes it accessible
