I remember after starting to play again and buying my Stagg practice amp off Ebay and plugging in a bass to it for the first and hitting the strings and nothing !, fiddled with the knobs for about 10 minutes, still nothing and then realised that I hadn't pushed the guitar lead all the way into the input on the combo, what a dummy ! LOL John
