Damn that pretty! So many Sandbergs being bought at the moment, it's great to see a new(ish) company making such a good impression! Any soundclips/videos?

Is this quite a new feature?! (Sandberg Configurator)

Ebony and Ivory Then I will be done for basses forever. -
I actually like how they look now. It took me a while, but its grown on me, a lot. Mine is going to stand out like crazy as well (all Bongo's should!) Tangerine Pearl/Black Plate/5 HH
Like this? I love my Bongo!

I'm glad that Andertons gets the attention it deserves - I've always lived nearby, so consider it my local music shop, so didn't really know how good I had it until I had to use another nearby shop for strings. It's looking really nice in there too now that they've done a refurb. Pity they no longer stock Warwicks

Just did a trade with Thom, and couldn't have gone better. Top bloke, and even came down to Northampton for the trade

Totally forgot to leave feedback earlier - did a lovely trade with him, and even made me a coffee

Live Music Pubs In And Around London Area
Killerfridge replied to Hobbayne's topic in General Discussion
There's bloody hundreds of the places in and around Guildford - maybe check out The Star, or the Robin Hood -
Ha, ok, well those parts are not transferring any tone directly out of the instrument. I mean, I've played many active basses, same preamp, pickups and woods but sound different. This is my point here..
And many people swear they have been cured by homeopathy. Anecdotes do not equal data.

Right, I'm off to Malaysia in a couple of weeks, so I need to shift some gear in order to have some spending money whilst I'm out there. So today, for this week only, we have the Line 6 Bass PodXT Live for sale, for a minuscule £110 (Plus P+P, or collection). I love using it for recording, and live, but since I haven't really done either recently , it's kinda been sat unused. It comes with a bag and power adapter, and is a great addition to any rig! It could probably do with some WD40 on the expression pedal though, as it is a bit squeeky! My bass cover of Lovely Day by Bill Withers
Killerfridge replied to benjybassman's topic in Recording
Very nice - love the bass tone -
I'm going to say Squire Classic Vibe Jazz - only because it sounds very similar to one of the Squires that I have heard other people play recently. And it is a great sound!

Beautiful - and I don't generally like tapping

Hi guys Up for sale/trade today is my lovely Shuker Custom 5 It has Bartolini Pickups and a John East U-Retro Deluxe preamp, and is currently strung B-G! Other than that, my knowledge of this instrument is pretty crap! It sounds lovely though Reason for sale/trade is this - I don't really use a 5 string, and since receiving my Sadowsky, I don't really need 2 Jazz basses. So I'm looking to trade for something non Jazz bassed - 4 or 5 string. Either that or sale for £750 If you want any more details/better photos, just ask, and I'll see what I can do . F-Bass BN5/Alleva Coppolo LM5/Sadowski MV5 VTC : cut through mix
Killerfridge replied to nonkel26's topic in Bass Guitars
Ah, I understand now. I'm not really down with the lingo of different music style I've so far not found a situation in which the Sadowsky doesn't work really well, although I can't claim knowledge of it working with this music style.
