1. Hi Guys I'm selling my Tascam MP-T1 bass trainer as I no longer use it due to using an iPhone app for practice these days. It's got two issues. 1. The menu button is permanently depressed on it's left hand side. It still works completely fine though and brings up the main menu as expected. 2. Each of the corners have the plastic missing where it has fractured near the screw positions. This isn’t due to mistreatment I can assure you but just seems to have happened over the life of this bit of kit. That being said, this is still a fully functioning mp3 trainer which I'm sure someone can make use of. How does £[s]45[/s] £30 posted sound? A clever MP3 player designed for bass players. The Tascam MP-BT1 mobile bass trainer is the first MP3 player designed for musicians. Based on the award-winning CD-BT1mkII, this fun mobile bass trainer includes enough memory to store up to 240 songs. Bass parts can be slowed down, looped and even eliminated to help you to learn new riffs. Play back MP3s using Variable Speed Audition, which slows down the speed without changing the pitch, and sections can be seamlessly looped while practicing tricky passages. Songs can even be pitched up or down to match the tuning of your bass, so you don't have to re-tune for every song. The bass input lets you to rock along with multi-effects, including a bass canceller so you can play along with your favorite bands. A tuner, metronome, and built-in rechargeable battery are also built- in. All of this is packed into an MP3 player smaller than a stomp box, so stuff it in your backpack, gig bag or back pocket and hit the road. The MPBT1 uses a high-speed USB connection to load up MP3s and charge the built-in battery (an optional power supply is also available). Zip through your MP3 collection using a data wheel, dedicated buttons and a graphical LCD display. A rechargeable 9-hour lithium ion battery is built into the unit, and MP-BT1 Features:

A clever, mobile bass trainer/MP3 player
240-song memory capacity (based on average 4-minute MP3 encoded at 128kbps)
Variable Speed Audition changes the speed of the MP3 playback without changing the pitch
Pitch control in 1% steps so you don't have to re-tune
Seamless looping for practicing tricky passages
High-impedance 1/4 inch bass input
Built-in multi effects for Bass
Bass Canceller on MP3 Playback
Bass range Booster and Enhancer on MP3 playback
Built-in tuner and metronome
1/8 inch (3.5mm) Headphone output
Built-in rechargeable battery with 9-hour reserve
128 x 64 graphic LCD display
USB jack
Auto Power Off and Hold function
Dimensions (W x H x D): 3.1 x 4.3 x 1 inches (78 x 110 x 25.5 mm) excluding protrusions
Weight: 7.8 ounces (220g) including lithium ion battery
4. Guys Here we have a Lakland Skyline Bob Glaub in natural with a rosewood neck which is a jazz width neck as opposed to the usual precision neck. The bass is in great condition with a few light playing marks and no obvious dents or scrapes. Currently fitted with a drop tuner on the E string, the bass will also be supplied with the original tuner and comes with the standard Lakland Gig Bag (which is great btw). Pictures available at the link below: https://www.icloud.c...#A1532ODWJEThbt The bass is a 2005 model, made in Korea and has the Lindy Fralin pickups (black and white cloth covered pickup wires) and sounds immense! It weighs in on my kitchen scales at 9.5lb's. The currently fitted Schaller strap locks will be replaced with the original strap buttons. Collection from North Bristol preferred although I am happy to meet half way with anyone up to an hours drive from Bristol if required. Tradewise I would only be interested in a Yamaha BB1024X in similar condition. Thanks for looking. Please PM with any questions etc. Pete
  5. Hi All Up for [s]sale[/s] SOLD (subject to the usual) is my lovely Fender MIM 70's Jazz bass in black with blocks and binding on the neck. Pictures are available at the link below. https://www.icloud.c...#A15oqs3qGccl8T The bass has just had a recent full setup and is lovely to play with a great neck. Mainly used for home practice with only occasional gigs this bass is in pretty much mint condition as far as I can see with no nasty scratches or dent's and only very light use marks. Currently sporting a Black Pearl pick guard (from the Bass Doc) the bass will be supplied with the original white pick guard if required and comes in the originally supplied Fender deluxe gig bag. The currently fitted Schaller strap locks will be replaced with the original strap buttons. Collection from North Bristol preferred although I am happy to meet half way with anyone up to an hours drive from Bristol if required. Priced to sell. Tradewise I would be willing to add cash for a Yamaha BB1024X in similar condition. Thanks for looking. Please PM me with any additional questions etc. Further specs below. Fender '70s Jazz Bass (Black) Fender's ’70s Jazz Bass captures the essence of the decade, defined by striking cosmetics and a bright, full sound. The ’70s saw the repositioning of the bridge pickup closer to the bridge, creating a brighter tone that cut through mixes more. The biggest cosmetic upgrade came in the form of gorgeous block inlays and neck binding, which are highly sought after by many bassists. The bullet truss rod completes the look. Seventies-era Jazz Bass guitars are widely regarded as the basses built for funk. The offset waist, ultra-slim neck and vintage-style alnico magnet Jazz Bass single-coil pickups all make this bass very comfortable and familiar. 6. What about a Mackie SRM150 or the Behringer Eurolive B205D (which is essentially a copy of the Mackie)?
  7. Hi I've been using 'forScore' for reading music notation (in PDF format) and creating set lists and notes for songs etc. Very happy with it as a solution. Basically anything that you have as a PDF can be loaded through DropBox, Bluetooth etc. Cheers Pete
  8. Hi Hope the attached is of some use? If the above doesn't download correctly then please feel free to PM me. Cheers Pete
  9. Watching the sequences of photos was genuinely amazing. I am massively impressed!

  11. We do a version of Mercy (by the 3rd Degree) with a verse and chorus of Billie Jean in the middle and another medley of Bad Girls into September (EW&F) into Dancing in The Streets. It's all about keeping the party going!
  12. 1. Realisation that I was never going to be an amazing saxophonist. (I'm ok playing in a horn section though but leave all the twiddly diddly stuff to our 1st sax). 2. Fed up waiting for our then bassist to turn up to gigs on time and missing rehearsals without any explanation. He was an ace player but far too laid back for my liking so I decided to learn to play so that I could cover for him if needed. 3. Found myself listening more to the low end in music and really enjoying it.
  13. Hi Paul I've had some good results with using a JamHub for rehearsals and in fact put a band together for a show playing a selection of Queen tracks (a la We Will Rock You) where the 'band' mix was provided to the front of house from the rear outputs of the JamHub. You can have multiple monitor mixes (6 minimum assuming one instrument or mic per channel and a max of 11 with 4 additional sole mixes connected) and there are reports of people using this setup as a wired in ear monitor solution whilst splitting the instrument and mic feeds to a standard FOH mixer. 14. Another vote for a straight jack here. I've had no problem with mine in several years of ownership.
  15. Karl bought my Bob Glaub. Very easy transaction and he drove more than half way to meet up which was very much appreciated. Nice chap, had a quick chat about basses in the services and then we parted ways. Would not hesitate in dealing again. Cheers Pete
  16. Another trade option - how about a Yamaha BB1024X, or a nice Warwick Corvette (ash) if anyone has one up that they would be interested in moving on? Slight cash adjustments either way as appropriate.
  17. Bump for the weekend and added trade option.

    Feedback for Mase

Mikko purchased a Stingray from me. Very easy transaction with great communications. I would not hesitate in dealing again. Thanks! :-)
  19. You should try it with 14 people in the band!!! It's like trying to herd cats
