Ric 4001. One of the best necks I've known, which was inversely proportional to the body. My right forearm still thanks me.
Westone Thunder 1A. This was my first bass, so when one came up a few years ago I thought I'd re-live past glory, but as Lemmy said, the sight of a well turned ankle can send a 12 year old into paroxysms of joy. A neck-diving boat anchor.
Fender Coronado. Another boat-anchor.
Burns Bison. An enormous stupid bass, with an enormously stupid sound.
Danelectro 62. Long scale, shortest time out of the box. Straight back to GAK. What was I thinking?!
