Pretty cool! I still want a 6 effect upgrade for the B3 though

I got a Peavey Scorpio recently. (the Dave Ellefson model with the mirror pickguard and Seymour Duncan quarter pounders). It's amazing! It only cost me £150 on ebay. Definitely worth a look. The non signature models don't look very metal at all!

Now to wait another year until they bring out a programmable 3 channel one

Another vote for ACS ER20s here. Nice and cheap, but very good! You lose a tiny bit of high end detail, and get a small low end boost, but that just protects you from cymbals that are inches from your ears, and allows you to hear yourself better! I went for the 'ice' ones as they are smaller, I have narrow ear canals.

I'd just buy a massive sheet of foam off ebay or something, cut it, and superglue it to the case

I once put my bass through a really old Line 6 Spider guitar combo.. Not only did i not blow it up, but I got an incredible distorted tone

I've used similar settings on my B3 (but without the Markbass sim!) on a gig once where I had no amp - just the DI on the Zoom. I feel a bit like a traitor saying this but it was the best sound I ever had!
