  1. Anyone tried running theirs direct into a powered pa cab? Im sitting here with a tea, looking at the pedal and realising I have a powered PA can I use with my Helix. Im asking you lot because if it is crap I can’t be bothered to try! 😀
  2. Get a free trial and get it all https://www.scribd.com/document/375551244/Hit-Me-With-Your-Rhythm-Stick
  3. Can you weight it please? Thank you.
  4. The physio has given me exercises that cause me to take her name in vain - quite a lot! I will do it of course but I suspect I am doomed to a life of sub 8lb basses.
  5. I'm in 2 minds really. I withdrew it so I could go and see a physio about getting stronger, and I did, but she's also not sure exactly how much she can do after I've had 4 inguinal hernias and 1 para-umbilical hernia repairs. Probably too much damage already done.
  6. You can buy my Marleaux if you like?
  7. Exactly how bored are you?
  8. I do that in my iPhone in AmpliTube. It works well and I get a good amp model too. Roland do a good one as well.
  9. That’s a great Colour!
  10. PHOTOS!
  11. Anyone got one? Any good? I'm looking to save some space on my board and they look like a good choice.... but the again the full sized Geezer wah looks nice too - and would still be smaller than the Morley I've got on the board at the moment.
  12. The green on that strat is lovely. Is it an old Clapton model?
  13. We don't even know if any of it was plugged in. Probably got a Sansamp back stage.
  14. If it's worth doing, then it's worth overdoing.
  15. PU cover doesn't matter anyway. It gets in the way - take it off!
  16. It is super clean, sounds a bit like going direct to a really good desk. I can see me using it loads.
  17. Holy necro thread! I finally bought one. It's brilliant. Should have got one 3 years ago! ha ha!
  18. Lovely. I had a really good one years ago - alas it was too heavy for me and had to go.
  19. The prototype had a touch screen. They binned it after testing.
  20. I ordered a Big Head. Always wanted one.
  21. Helix is amazing. The biggest problem with the trying out process is that 99% of shop people don't know how to show you how it works properly. Join the big Helix group on facebook - lots of questions will already be answered there and you might find someone with one close to you who might let you have a play https://www.facebook.com/groups/line6helixusergroup/
  22. My gigging rig is currently a DG M900 head and a pair of Barefaced One10s with a compressor. Using my much modified Stingray PJ-Ray. And I'm playing big band / jazz / swing. It sounds superb. Sits in the mix under the 'bones and gives a really thick bottom to it all. Rehearsals are from 9.30am on a Saturday morning and I actually get up early to make sure everything is spot on. I love it!
