This thread is making me wonder about swapping my pair of One10 for a pair of SC.
Anyone done that swap?
I play old big band so to hear the SC works with an old RnB sound seems a good fit.
I've got one that I used to use on my stringray 5.
It works very well. Comes with slightly longer screws for a good fit - make sure you keep the old ones for if you you remove it.
I don't think anywhere outside of the USA stocks them - I think they direct sales / BBG / Ebay.
The demo of the 6 is ok, but seriously, I'd love to just hear someone play some actual bass lines on one.
Aretha Franklin / Otis Redding / The Who / etc etc
I've never tried one but I like Geezer's sound, and the core ABM sound. I was slightly put off by the removal of the compressor, but then again I cannot remember what the ABM compressor is like, let alone whether like it or not!

That's nearly half price!
If I wasn't banned from buying shiny things at the moment I'd have tried that.
I doubt a shared microphone can be adequately sanitised with a spray.
Would probably need disassembling and having the grill boiled and the foam behind it replaced.
This thread makes me sad.
I had the HA3500 for years and it never let me down. It was the heart of my original Rig of Doom handling all the mids + highs + FX.
I didn't particularly like the LH500 I had for a while, but I really liked the Hydrive 4x10.
Is their reputation in the USA in the toilet as well? Or are they still liked over there?
The VS4 passive - single P pickup, the proper way round, is considered a special order. Probably because they sell more of the others.
The VT4 can be active or passive - the passive again being a special order. The P pickup is the wrong way round.
Neck shapes across all the 4 strings (T and V types) are the same.
For what it's worth - I'd be tearing out the big pole P pickup anyway and replacing it with something more traditional. Aguilar 60s wind for example.
Easiest way of getting info is to joint the Sandberg page on facebook and send a message - Gregor (from the Bass the World youtube) will answer any questions you have.
Or contact a dealer to get a quote - but IIRC built to order specs take about a year.
