  1. It was a long time ago! However it still seems that the 4x10+1x15 combination dogma is still a thing for some.
  2. Before I switched to my Markbass 210 set up I heaved an Ashdown 4x10 and 1X15 around. It was when the 1x15 blew and I gigged the 4x10 solo that I saw (heard!) the light. much prefer 10s and never worried about lack of bottom, in fact a lot of rooms I have cut the bass back a little.
  3. I've just bought an EHX Bass Clone from Glenn. Great pedal , nice price; a speedy, efficient and pleasant transaction.
  4. Here is my little board. Now with “extra melodic richness” with the addition of the EHX Bass Clone, which arrived yesterday courtesy of @glenalli of this parish. I tried it briefly last night at a rehearsal. I’m really impressed with it.
  5. One of these ?S1 Switch I have a US Jazz with an S1 switch. It works a treat.
  6. I recently posted in effects for sale and it’s looking like this with a little warning triangle. please can you advise ?
  7. This is brand new, unused and first time out of the box for the photos, as I inadvertently bought two, so this one has been sitting in it’s packaging for a few months waiting for me to do something with it. https://www.sonicake.com/products/octave They’re £27 on fleabay and £33 on Amazon, so how about £25 posted ?
  8. I have a brand new unboxed one of these to sell, which I’ll post in marketplace. I ordered two by mistake
  9. Jedson Kay Hohner Hartke G&L Fender Peavey Fender Sadowsky
  10. DR strings, I use Fat Beams, seem to last well. If on a budget Fender Nickel wound ( made by D'addario?) are great.
  11. last night at the John Peel Centre. Didn’t bother with the usual extra 210 cab as huge house pa and monitor set up. Sadowsky Tesco Express Markbass CMD210 Spectracomp Korg tuner pedal Boss leads
  12. A great first time with The Gray Project https://www.thegrayproject.co.ukat the John Peel Centre in Stowmarket, supporting Smith and the Honey Badgers. Lovely crowd and staff They want us back in March and May
  13. I use a right angle jack with the lead tucked in the strap
  14. Yep especially when they're this short. I have the regular ones; they're great and save a heap of space
  15. “Disco pants and haircuts”
  16. This one.
  17. I love mine too, the purchase of which was inspired by your review. Thank you.
  18. I currently use 45-105 DR Nickel Lo-riders
  19. Despite the crappy logo I really like it, after a good setup and new strings it works very well for me. I tried a German Metro Express recently, in Germany funny enough. It was very nice and felt like a more expensive bass, however, at three times the price I can neither afford nor justify the cost. I also think that I prefer the simplicity of the two band EQ on mine as I didn't really have time get to grips with the German one in the shop. If money was no object however...
  20. I have a USA one from 2006, which I love dearly. All standard, with the S1 switch, I can't think why I would change anything; it does the job very well. and is probably my most gigged bass. I have a couple of Precisions and a Sadowsky Tesco Express fiver, which is my main squeeze with the current band, however the Jazz is the one I wouldn't part with.
  21. Yes We watched a bit of that before the fireworks, It was pretty dire
  22. Andy Fairweather Low Not great Reminds me of the bloke who used to do Bullseye
