  1. I bought a pedal from Pete and he has been great. Fast delively and clear communication.
  2. Not sure this has been posted here already https://bassmusicianmagazine.com/2024/01/chuck-levins-washington-music-center-spector-bass-collab/
  3. Hi, The other day I found this video on YouTube and watched it in tranches as it's 2h long and afterwards I thought I should share it here since it's definitely worth a watch. It's a Bass Clinic by Bubby Lewis where he talks about pretty much anything bass related, and more. Personally, I found him a good laugh and the video is full of interesting things, from conversations about bass strings, to money ernead as a touring musician, passing through funny anecdotes about working with Snoop Dog.

  5. Bought an EHX Signal Pad from Paul and everything was perfect, communication, delivery, pedal, etc. Thanks Paul!

  9. +1 for the Laney Digbeth Pre. I haven't tried dozens of preamps in my life but, I can definitely recommend this. The tube (simulation) is really really good, warm and well balanced sonically and has its own volume. The FET channel is clear and dynamically rich. The MUTE switch can be used as BYPASS as well. The TILT knob (seesaw lo-pass/hi-pass EQ) is musical and, probably one the most important thing for me, it has a 4-band EQ and the lo-mid have a 3-way switch that set the freq and Q-point (kind of semi-parametric). Also, it has a SEND and a RETURN. There's a thread here on BC where the pedal is discussed in great detail that contains measurements/graphs and demo-files from BC users.
  10. Interesting what Ian Allison says at 26:30
  11. nice short documentary about session musicians on YouTube - from 2005
