Charlie Chandler at Hampton Wick or Chandler's at Kew.

Not owned by the same people apparently.
I use Andy from Chandlers in Kew/Richmond. He does all my work and tells me what needs doing and what doesnt. (If he thinks I,m wasting money on something that I think I need doing)

Behringer. It's cheap but i only use it on 3 songs and not all the way through.

+1 Except I only use it on 2.
I have a USA Standard P Bass which is mint as I bought it brand new and am very careful with it on the rare occasions it gets gigged.
OTOH I also bought a Nate Mendel which is also brand new but has some relicing on it, which I am not so careful with. Go figure.
I once dreamed I had a gig and the car broke down and I was panicking I would be late. I tried to get a taxi but coudnt. Tried to a get a train but there where no trains. I even tried to call my bandmates to tell them I was going to be late but I couldnt get through. No matter what I tried, obstacles were put in front of me to prevent me from getting there.
Bizarre.
I took a couple of my basses into a local shop for a minor set up and to have the nut re-cut, and was talking to the guy behind the counter about one of the basses that I was thinking of selling and he offered to sell it for me.
Apart from the obvious commission for the shop what are the pros and cons of doing this?
I love the Precision for its plug n play simpleness. I cant be bothered with fancy basses and multiple knobs that do little or nowt. I too have the Nate Mendel which I have left alone. I like the Q P pickups, the hotter sound suits some songs.
I have 3 P basses actually.

I couldn't name 1 Megadeath song. But I'm different, I'm evolved.
While I don't know Megadeath,I know Lemmy started the band back in the mid 70s.

You taking the piss?
I was never really interested in all that prog stuff, King Crimson, Yes etc. I only really listened to Genesis after Phil Collins took over.
I know, I,m shallow.
Before the iron curtain fell, the eastern bloc countries had to make their own ' Western Copies'
This offering looks like something from our favourite guitar improvers workshop.

What is the weight of the bass...? I am interested, but the weight is a pretty critical thing to me.... Thanks..

I have a Nate Mendel and it comes in about 8 and a half pounds on my scales.
