Kev's Feedback

Another motorway service area meeting to drink coffee, move a Berg speaker from one car to another and activate an on-line payment by phone- the wonders of modern technology. Thanks Kev. Enjoy the cab. I hope your B.O.T.B. entry is successful.

3. Bergantino CN212 including padded Berg cover. Very little use and always treated with great care so in excellent condition apart from a small indentation on the top. This is probably the best cab I have ever owned however the way things are now I cannot realistically justify keeping it. I bought this when I was gigging with a loud covers band but those days are over and it has had very little use over the past couple of years. 4. What a shame that in their desire to make the ELF as small as possible they have reverted to the antiquated 1/4-inch jack for the speaker output rather than the more robust and secure Speakon.
5. I've just checked and the outer that I cut from Sommer LLX cable and throw away slips nicely over a 2.1mm plug. If you are passing anytime Colin you can have a few.

7. Has anyone had any dealings with Ebay seller bass_japan_direct? If so what were your experiences?
8. Looks very similar in scale length/size to my Westfield, which sounds great.
9.
Positive so far, which is great. I'll start thinking some more about the venue and date. My initial thought is early Autumn, but it's just a thought at the moment.
In that case please take into consideration that the South East Bass Bash is usually held in late September.
10. Could well be tempted.
11. Ideally you need to find someone who has a tube tester who can check them individually. Unfortunately the only guy that I know of who might be able to help is in my part of the world. I doubt that it's the 12AX7s as they go on for years however I seem to remember that a number of problems with the output tubes surfaced not long after the Prodigy was launched. Have you tried reseating them all?
12. There's always the Bacchus Mini Jazz. https://www.deviser-bacchus.com/products/universe-series-bass/wjb-mini/ Available from The Guitar Den.
13.
Not teeny tiny but at £40... I have one and strung with cut-down flats sounds just like a full size Precision. Very rare. Someone please buy it.
14. and it's not even a real Jazz, it's a PJ.
15. Some years ago I had them do some routing on a Lakland Duck Dunn. They put in cut-outs for a bridge jazz pick-up, side jack and a rear battery box. Having explained what I wanted done they sent me a quote, I then sent them just the body and it came back perfect a couple of weeks later.

17. I've been using Sadowsky Flats. They are available 40-125 and 45-130. Made for them by LaBella. Not easily obtainable in the UK but I have bought several sets from this Polish Ebay seller without any problem. Just recently got hooked onto Spector having bought a Shorty. Just pulled the trigger on another, not a Shorty but short scale.
23. Price drop to £550 or £500 without the Hiscox case.
