    Met up with Matt at a service station in Oxford to trade basses...and force fit a 1x15 cab into a Toyota coupe... Nice fella, clearly has good taste in equipment. More than happy to trade with him again.

    I had a completely different experience when I met Jay and the band at a charity 5 a side event. Stu was the only member of the band that didn't turn up to play. The rest of the band were approachable and chatted with us at length - we had a laugh taking the piss out of some of the other artists that had turned up. Good day out...

    I had one of these as my second bass - the neck was incorrectly marked - first dot on the 4th fret - I couldn't get on with the Select pups. The person I sold it to planned to upgrade them. GLWTS

    Everybody should own an ACG...at least for a while to appreciate Alan's handiwork. Every time I see one for sale I am reminded that I should never have sold my Harlot SC.

    I really liked the one I had...the lack of tone knob seems to be counter intuitive but once you get used to balancing your tone by mixing the pickups it you wonder why nobody thought of it before... GLWTS

    Foolishly sold the head I had, though somebody here benefitted from that stupidity. I managed to find another nearby and pried it from the hands of the previous owner. Comments??

    Great basses...I have two...fretted and fretless... Lot of bass for your buck. This one is severely underpriced...grab it while you can.

    I've only just found out that Terry Chapman died late last year after a long battle with cancer. I miss my conversation with him on all subjects from instruments, dogs and politics (small p). Rocking in heaven...
