    JOOI I have 2x pairs of these...haven't seen many on the used market. They were only available in black so somebody sprayed this pair at some time in their life.

    Good to see that it isn't just me and Nick Smith keeping the Trace Elliot Love alive and well... I currently have 6 heads, a 300w combo and a recently acquired Twin valve combo. That said, cash permitting, I'm happy to rehome any that come along at the right price.     I have that preamp in my recently acquired Marusczszyk Caspar 5...haven't got a clue what the controls do and the information on the website isn't much help. Really need to sit down with the instructions and figure it out.

    Acknowledged as great basses but still underrated IMO. I would use mine more but the black mirror finish shows every finger mark. GLWTS

    I keep telling myself to stop acquiring more gear - anybody that knows me also knows that I don't listen!! Beautiful Maruszczyk (I'm going to have to learn how to spell Adrian's surname!!) Mensinger custom 5 with Poplar eye front, Mahogany body 30" neck and matching headstock. Came fitted with flats and plays like a dream...lovely low action and super smooth neck. Hope you fellas like it as much as I do...

    Met up with Matt at a service station in Oxford to trade basses...and force fit a 1x15 cab into a Toyota coupe... Nice fella, clearly has good taste in equipment. More than happy to trade with him again.

    I had a completely different experience when I met Jay and the band at a charity 5 a side event. Stu was the only member of the band that didn't turn up to play. The rest of the band were approachable and chatted with us at length - we had a laugh taking the piss out of some of the other artists that had turned up. Good day out...

    I had one of these as my second bass - the neck was incorrectly marked - first dot on the 4th fret - I couldn't get on with the Select pups. The person I sold it to planned to upgrade them. GLWTS

    Everybody should own an ACG...at least for a while to appreciate Alan's handiwork. Every time I see one for sale I am reminded that I should never have sold my Harlot SC.

    I really liked the one I had...the lack of tone knob seems to be counter intuitive but once you get used to balancing your tone by mixing the pickups it you wonder why nobody thought of it before... GLWTS
