  1. You built it up so much I had to have a listen.... Hated it!! Sorry....proves that life would be boring if we all liked the same things...
  2. Can I propose Bob Marley?? Some of the tunes still feel current/ timeless
  3. I sold a Squier PJ Standard a while back - as you say very versatile - punched well above it's weight in the tone department. The solution for those who want more than a P or a J.
  4. Personally I'd take it all back to natural - especially that black headstock.
  5. There in lies the problem for us...
  6. I've been thinking about buying one...then not...then again. Still can't decide..
  7. Trick of the light making the two headstock photos look like there's damage to the top edge?
  8. Sorry...not my fault...the "saved" option didn't work.
  9. Ah....reminds me of the Stray Cats song "Better looking every beer".
  10. Ah....reminds me of the Stray Cats song "Better looking every beer".
  11. How do these differ from the 55-02?
  12. In the marketplace currently are a Vanderkley Spartan and a couple of Glocks - both will do exactly what you're after - great tones from both. I foolishly sold my Glock Soul - one of the best Class D amps on the market.
  13. The Romantic Age Romantic Pastimes Years for Fears Tears for Years The Old Romantics
  14. Do you think that you'll lose that chocolate "W" under the bridge? Shame if you do. That body looks amazing - it'll really come to life when it receives it's coat of finish.
  15. I do like the natural fretless - (Ebony?) neck looks amazing.
  16. Apparently Elton John's favourite version of one of his songs.
  17. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/334182812477?hash=item4dced90b3d:g:vqoAAOSwvM1hadcz There was another on eBay (in poor condition) but I couldn't find it when I just looked.
  18. More prolific than I thought. Looked on Amazon and there are more than 10 albums - as with all "new" artists it's hard to know what to buy. In such cases YT is your friend.
  19. Thievery Corporation - heard this years ago without knowing what it was. Nice find on YT.
  20. I remember Schecter as being quite respected when I started playing back in the 80s. They seem to have lost their credibility nowadays.
  21. I've got one - great quality pedal - this is a VERY good price. I want more than this for mine.
  22. I sold one recently - amazing VFM, have the feel of a much more expensive bass. I predict these will become very collectable in the future due to their playability and tonal range.
  23. Many people will recommend a Neotech padded comfort strap... They work a treat.
  24. What do you think?
  25. @philw was/is the UK importer for Veillette. He's had a few crackers... I have an 80s Veillette Citron - one of less than 280 built and possibly one of 3 in the UK - seriously good bass. If this is in the same league somebody's getting a real treat.
