1.
When you get the 10% final value fee and then the 4% PPal fee, i'm putting my email address in the ad's now in the hope I get some contact and sell outside the bay.
+1 I've just sold my Guild B-301 fretless via that method seeing as I was getting little to no interest on here (I did want that Marcus Miller Jazz though if you're reading it!) (ie listing on ebay for free last weekend, link to photobucket with lots of pics, and putting my email addy in the listing). Cost - precisely nothing. Fees - nothing. And I got what I wanted for it, so everyone's happy. He emailed me after it had ended (with 0 bids) and I let him have it for 20 quid less than the starting bid (which was 30 quid more than what I wanted for it to offset the potential ebay fees).....And breathe
2. Cheers mate! That's plenty long enough. I'll have it then for 6 quid. Is paypal OK? Just PM me your paypal addy thing if so. Cheers
3. Sorry to be a pain in the proverbial, but exactly how long is the other strap (the levys one)? I'm a big lad with 9 (i think) basses, or is it 8?! All have got decent straps on them but some arent long enough to hang at a comfy level, and i end up looking like a fat (and talentless) mark king (ie, bass up around my ears). If you could measure it, that would be great, and I'll go measure my long one (ooh err!) and see how they compare? Jesus; that sounds gay; not that there's owt wrong with being gay. Christ....oh god, that's blaspheming....and so was that....but you understand i hope?! Cheers
4. Yea, I think you're right actually! Good luck with the trade mate
Dont want the guild thanks. I dont know about the LP if you think thats is too much for you the double buck will really blow you away, its very aggressive and middly, I dont think it will be your bag to be honest
5. I've got far too many too! I already have a gordon smith bass (look at the bottom of my signature) as well as 2 Gordon smith electric g*****s. They are absolutely fantastic superbly made instruments. Just a shame (don't tell my mrs I said this) that I'm getting married next year and trying to save up to pay for other people to eat and drink for free for a couple of hours, so every penny counts. And you're right about the Yamaha. That's lovely too. I've just been playing it for half an hour actually. Cheers
6. I bet James Jamerson even farted in intervals. Legend
7. Interested in this http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=132053 plus cash your way? And I can come to Manchester...... Cheers
8. Fancy a swap for either: My Guild b301 fretless 1977? All original Or my immaculate .1997 Gibson les Paul 5 string with Bart Pickups and preamp Both are in the for sale section and are both cracking basses. Cheers
9. Are you looking at swapping them both for the right bass or just one or the other? Out of interest, what do you value them both at? Cheers
10. I have nice padded 'westfield' gigbag, black with a bit of red on it. Big zip pocket on front with a smaller one on that, and a smaller pocket up near where the headstock is. You can get allsorts in it! It's also got a velcro thingy insite to wrap around your (the bass's)! neck to keep it secure. I come over to Manchester quite regularly so meeting up is no problem. I can get some pics of the gigbag if you're interested. Also it has carry handles on the side like a case and one on the front to pick it up with. It also has 2 straps to sling it on your back or over your shoulder if you want to. Cheers

Hahah! Snap! Any interest in 5 strings at all, or is it just 4s? I have an immaculate 1997 active (Bartolini pickups and preamp) Gibson Les Paul 5 string bass? Cheers
13. Seeing as u don't want a 5 now, any interest in my all original 1977 Guild B-301 fretless? Cheers

16. The price of warwicks has fallen so much over the last year or so. I sold my immaculate 5 string passive bubinga Corvette for 480 earlier this year. The bass you played is a streamer, the kind of entry model of proper warwicks (they also do a budget 'rockbass' range). The streamer is a lovely instrument no doubt, but like I said, the secondhand prices at the mo are stupidly silly. Have a look on ebay completed listings and I'm sure you'll see what I mean. I reckon a used streamer like this would struggle to fetch 300 at the moment, so it's overpriced if you ask me....not that it's not a as good as some 500 pound plus basses, because it most certainly is! I need to buy another Warwick cos I miss mine.
17. Herzich Willkommen bei uns! Ich habe 2 Guild Baesse.....schau auf meinem Signature unter.
