  1. Is there a serial number for it?
  2. "project" is what it does. Though the seller could usefully have added "ile vomiting".
  3. If I didn't already have three... Edit: Listing has ended early, but relisted: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Peavey-Foundation-bass-guitar/163396649130?hash=item260b3300aa:g:zhsAAOSwWz5b-p5C
  4. These sound good and the necks are nice. I needed five strings, otherwise I would have kept mine.
  5. I don't know, I thought the point was that the musicians got paid...
  6. Brexit.
  7. Argh! Didn't even see it till today
  8. I need the money, and the space, and I'm not playing it. I suppose I could put a fretless neck in it.
  9. I'd want to know why it's been stripped first, or at least to check the TR, but this might be a nice project: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Gordy-Blueshift-De-Luxe-Bass-Guitar-Main-Body-Only/143008237339?hash=item214bf4871b:g:zCAAAOSwV1Vb5qQx
  10. Re-necked, old neck included. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hayman-4040-Bass-Guitar/113362749608?hash=item1a64f248a8:g:4-MAAOSwn01b5sjh Not too far from me...
  11. Thanks. Might be a decent buy then...
  12. Not fretless, thank goodness...
  13. Are these any good? I like the reverse 'burst on the four, but I don't need it and wouldn't play it. OTOH, the fiver might be more my thing.
  14. It's hideous... I think someone here should buy it, as that means it's less likely to show up again
  15. Slot-load bridge. (Hat tip: fretmeister.) All other "features" are optional, IMO.
  16. Crude routing previously hidden by a scratchplate, I think.
  17. The Portamento and the Spectorcore are the only basses I GAS for...
  18. Taking the picture, I expect.
  19. Alternatively you could have a try for this one: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/192699937826?_trksid=p2047675.m570.l5999&_trkparms=gh1g%3DI192699937826.N36.S1.R1.TR1 Not as pretty, I grant you.
  20. If that had come up three years ago I'd have had it without a second thought. These days I have less money. The sense doesn't seem to have altered much though. If it's like its Fury cousins (Fury and Fury II) it has a neck skinnier than a cigarette paper.
  21. Not many of these out there. TBH, I'm not surprised. It's very ugly and seriously overpriced (no surprise from that seller). But an interesting bit of history, I suppose. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Burns-Weill-RP2G-Super-Streamline-bass-guitar-1959/292793545637?hash=item442bdaf3a5:g:8r4AAOSwMjpb1v4U (It's also misnamed. "Streamline", my armpit.)
  22. ... too slow, as usual ...
