That's not how it works, if you trademarked the HJ banana bass as an actual model then I could quite rightly sell bananas and promote them as that as the two items clearly have no impact on each other, however if I tried to also sell my basses as a banana bass you'd easily be able to get solicitors involved to either stop me or pay you an agreed sum to use your banana logo.

Unless it meant not being able to pay my mortgage I wouldn't be "upgrading" my amp, "bringing my big rig" or getting "effective hearing protection", I'd be leaving the band.

Anything fed off a generator can be hard to tell if it's wired up right, ten extension leads in a row can leave you with about 150v 🤣

I carry one of those cheap plug in testers in my gig bag to check the polarity and if it has an earth, better than any certificate.

What happens if they give you a copy? Or what happens if they don't for that matter?

You can do a course just for pat testing, you could do it yourself providing you can prove that you are competent which I can't see how you could do without the course or just being a full blown electrician or at least have some form of electrical qualification.
