    Bought a Lakland bass case from Ben. He shipped it to another Basschatter who put a Lakland bass in it and sent it to me. Super easy transaction and a very accommodating chap to deal with. Thoroughly recommended. Hope to deal with you again some day.

    Yes, I see now. They obviously dropped the ‘A” with the Thunder II as there wasn’t a purely passive version of that model. Mine looks exactly like the one with the XLR, but has a jack instead. Thanks for the link.

    I believe it’s a Thunder IIA. Same as mine except I have a P/P set of pick-up’s instead of P/J. Cracking basses these. I made my first studio recording on one of these in 1986 and it sounded great. It was my #1 bass for quite a while and I still have it today. GLWTS 👍

    Yes, indeed. There are ‘in stock’ basses on his web site that are ‘custom’ models. For them to be able to argue that any combination of options offered in the configurator are not what they normally do is stretching it.
