I've used tecamp cabs for a while now and picked up up a Bonafide head earlier this year. Hands down the best amp I have owned in terms of clean power, tone, portability and flexablity. Time will tell if it's durable but so far so good. Over and above this waffle though I'd point out that the taste control on these amps is fabulous for controlling 'room boom' in your sound. It's great for bass guitar but it is fantastic for double bass which I find can sometimes be difficult to tame. Other than that the EQ is helpful but to be honest you set it flat and you get a really clean and natural representation of whatever you put into it. I can genuinely say that it has been a revalation for me after 20 years of trading amps... If I had the readies I'd snap this up as a spare. GLWTS

Hi BC, Strictly a feeler at this stage and priced at what I paid for it. I seem to have a compulsion to go for basses with maple boards only to the end up feeling that I'm not comfortable with the sound of a maple board. This STR is pretty wonderful, I was looking for a more comfortable 6 and this is most definitely that. Bassculture pickups. maple/ash, wenge top and Aguilar pre. I may well hold it but there are one or two instruments out there that I would be interested in and whilst there are many things about this bass I love it just doesn't 'fit' as well as some others do... People say that these basses are 'fodera-esq'. I've never owned a fodera so I don't know but it certainly has similar style hardware, also a very well made professional instrument. Keep it eud, I traded this bass and whilst ultimately the trade worked out I really miss the sei. An amazing fretless. If I find 1500 today I'll bite your hand off.

Whammy 4 plus psu. Mint and boxed. Turns out my ring mod still does better pitch bends so this is gathering dust (well it isn't actually as it's in the box). Very open to trade offers on synths, filters or other noisemakers...

I've got one of these and the are epic. Great ring mod sounds and a fab pitch bend too. Think tweekie from buck Rodgers after too much Stella then you're half way there. Glwts

Thanks Kev. Just been playing it this morning and it is wonderful. I have started praying to the god of bass to magic a 5th string onto it (and a 6th perhaps!). To anyone interested I'd just like to point out that I will not be around so much for the next couple of weeks. Bank holiday Monday - good day to buy a Dolphin.........

For sale my RH750. Great amp. Super clean, powerful and very flexible. There is nothing not to like here but I've had the chance to pick up something a bit more rare, fruity and to my liking so this will have to make room. The amp is in mint condition, still under warranty (purchased from bass direct late last year). The RC4 was purchased separately second hand but is also in excellent condition. Long connection lead is included. Don't know what else to tell you really, I'm sure most of you know all about these and there's plenty of info on the web. There is one issue which you will see immediately from the pics. In the last two weeks 5 of the 7 control knobs have broken. The amp has not had an impact or anything, they have just come loose due to the fins inside the knobs breaking off so the knobs loose their grip on the pot shafts. It's rubbish and I've told TC this, some replacements are on the way. I've been using some high quality rubberised bass control knobs instead. These work like a dream, don't obscure the illuminated display and fit much better than the originals. This said I fully appreciate that they are not the 'right' knobs and the colour does not quite match. I'll be sending the replacements onto however buys the amp. [attachment=163557:DSC_0484.JPG] There is no gig bag but the amp fits really well into a standard laptop sleeve. I've been using a cheap neoprene one which has kept the amp in great condition. The amp will ship in the original packing with manual etc. I'll include a power cord if you need one. I think that's it! The amp is priced to move quickly given that I have incoming, I'm also trying to reflect the 'knobgate' scandal into the pricing. Please no offers or trades. I believe the prices are now around £700 for the amp and the footswitch probably £50-80 so this is hopefully a good price for an amp which is essentially new.
