  2. I'm not sure if there are miscommunications here, but the issue really is as simple as the rules of the forum do not allow threads requesting valuations for equipment outside of the subscribers members only sub-forum that has been linked to in this thread. The reason is people (not necessarily you!) have been known to use valuation threads as a way of getting gear sold without paying to be a supporting member. It isn't personal and shouldn't be viewed as such, you will only get formally warned if you repeatedly break the rules after its been pointed out to you. Best advice is to take advice from the mods/admin team and not members To view the forum in question, you need to be a Supporting Member, which is £20 per year. The £7 price is to post a single sales ad, which I do not believe makes you a supporting member.
  3. One of those useful pedals which are often hard to find. I used it to switch between basses, routing to an amp with a single input, but no longer need it. Operation is completely passive, so although there is an internal battery it is only there to light a Red or Yellow LED to show which input you are using Missing one screw on the case, but otherwise just minor road-wear postage included in the price
  4. I feel like its come down from the absolutely bonkers days of £10k basses appearing everywhere, which is about the time I left that group. Any much more than £6k seem to hang around for a long time at the moment, which gives me hope. I just wish Wal would change their strategy and get a team of builders in and start pumping more out, just to see the collectors panic. I really loved the sound of my MK2 (huge BSSM tone fan) and have never been satisfied by a "clean" tone since, but I hated everything else about the bass. V neck profile, distance between strings and body, thumb anchoring, all not me at all. Perhaps I'm just forever bitter for selling it for £3.5k....
  5. This is a small belt-mounted preamp with the very high input impedance that you need to correctly match piezo pickups Battery powered, one input jack, one output jack - just plug and play. As new condition. Postage included in the price Size is 5.5cms wide, 3.5cms deep (plus belt clip) and 11cms high (including the gain control)
  6. Made in Finland version. Excellent and versatile bass drive/preamp with three band EQ and toggles to adjust clipping. Can do a light drive or get almost fuzzy. Get in touch for more information/photos etc. I can post at cost/meet/deliver.
  7. Discontinued model. 3 x Fender noiseless pickups, 5 position switch. Locking tuners. Bought as B stock so not a perfect example but in very good condition with negligible physical imperfections. Get in touch for more information/photos etc. I can post at cost/meet/deliver.
  8. I'm putting my Kink Dozer Fuzz up for sale. This absolute monster is based on the Shin-Ei 8TR Fuzz Wah and is intended for use with bass. It's extremely violent but musical and I don't recall playing another fuzz like it. I ordered this unit from Australia to try it out. It's in great shape and full-working order. I'll cover UK postage by Royal Mail Special Delivery.
  9. I’ll be bringing my much modified Sire D5 along too. Curtis Novak gold foil pickup an all. I tomorrow Matt 😄 Peter
  10. Excellent condition, fully working, no velcro as its never been used on a pedalboard. Price includes postage
  11. See...the problem with flatwound strings is that they last forever and even though these are an absolute bargain, with about 6 spare sets of tapewounds in my string drawer, it's unlikely that I would ever get the chance to use them. Sadly, on this occasion I must let someone else grab the bargain.... I can't believe that I'm doing this!!!
  12. You will struggle to find a better value cab! 4x300W (1200W) 8 Ohms Roughly 25kg Size - 600x410x630mm Loaded with 4x eminence drivers (see pics for details). Marine ply construction. Open to sensible offers. Trade wise, I am interested in a clean boost pedal such as a rodenberg 707b or darkglass harmonic booster, or a line 6 helix stomp / stomp xl (assuming I have cash to add at the time...), but hey, try me. Located in Bedford, MK42 9UR. May be able to meet up somewhere or deliver for fuel money..but let's have that discussion first. Thanks!
  13. The sputtery high gain/boost tones it gets have a very Harmonic Percolator vibe to me, never played the real thing but I did briefly have the EAE Dude Incredible version. Maybe if it’s still here by pay day… 😂
  14. I'm putting my Mountainking Megalith up for sale. It really is billed by Mountainking as the ultimate doom fuzz heaviest fuzz in the galaxy bass fuzz and it is indeed an absolute belter of a bass fuzz. It really is the Gandalf Edition too; I ordered directly from Alan and was given a choice of white or grey knobs to choose my Gandalf. It really didn't like having its photo taken against my table-top (fair enough) so I've included the picture I took for Instagram (which is why there's one photo with a grey background). It's in great shape and full-working order. I'll cover UK postage by Royal Mail Special Delivery.
  15. Yeah all the demos sound pretty special, especially paired with a Model feT or Kuro Exegol or something. GLWTS!
  16. Had one, loved it, in my top 3
  17. I literally just messaged the guy, just before reading this!!
  18. The medium scale ones have 42mm nut width and 2x2 headstocks, neither of which suit me. I have to say the shapes don’t float my boat either. I like the look of the P/MM model but it is full scale only. If he came up with a medium scale P with a Jazz style neck, I would be right there with my wallet open; ditto the P/MM model. Actually, if somebody marketed reasonably priced medium scale Jazz style necks in the UK, I would snap up a couple immediately. They can be bought from China and the USA but you have all the import duty/VAT hassles to deal with. I guess there just isn’t a market here for anything other than full scale offerings and some of those are seriously expensive. I have considered buying a Squier Jaguar H bass just to get the neck and marry it up to a P bass body.

  20. I've been criticised on there for "talking down prices". Lots of collectors. One reason the price is so high is that the prices keep going up. It's a tragedy as so few good bass players can afford one, let alone dare take them out for a play. My fretless custom is out every week, it gets bashed a bit, I don't care; I'm not going to sell it ever. Great basses, but not THAT great. And the vaunted Rush and Tool connections are bogus as neither Mr Lee nor Mr Chancellor sound like they're playing one ( all effects and Geddy's weird low action light string setup). Flea, yes, BSSM has MK2 Wal all over it.
