  2. I used the Fuzzdog one, Dirt Dessert. Drive below 2pm is quiet and useless, and between 3pm and 4pm it gets incredibly loud and overdriven very very quickly. I can wah it, yeah. As blend, I assume you're referring to MIX? For me, that's not really a type of clean blend, as it's very much driven and impacted by the DRIVE value. The touch dynamic also changes greatly between low MIX and high MIX, it does not just change the signal balance/level. The bass switch will be removed, as it will be always on. I would be blending the clean bass signal into the driven bubbly mixed signal, but I'll breadboard this out to see if it makes any sense. On the long run when I might actually be selling anything more than 1 pedal per 3 months, I am also planning to have JLC solder on at least the resistors, and maybe some caps (depending on cost), to speed up things. But I also want to give it a go myself first SMT just seems like a different kind of fun.
  3. All prices include postage to the UK. Cut for a sire V5R (four in line): GHS Pressurewound M7200 set (44-106) £30 GHS Pressurewound L7200 set (40-96). The A and G strings of this set have some rust that was there when I got the strings but didn’t do anything about at the time. On the G string this is very minor but wanted to be totally open about it. Both string are totally playable but obviously might not last as long. This is reflected in the price. £20 LaBella Deep Talkin’ 760FS with no E string (45, 65, 85). Handy for spares as LaBella don't sell singles of these. £30 D'Addario XL. Two sets, both either 45-105 or 45-100. £15 each or £25 for the pair Cut for a Stingray (short G string): Ernie Ball Super Slinky (45-100) £10
  4. VFR 110 FRFR Active Cabinet 1300W 1x10 FRFR Speaker Cabinet (More like 300W) For sale, 2 months old, as new condition. Price includes UK Mainland Delivery Pete
  5. Read up on it and we have been in contact with the ME Society currently on waiting list for the local ME Specialist team. But will take any advice - PM me
  6. Agreed. Also while it makes sense that people remove photos as we all have limited capacity on our accounts, I've always found it unusual to the point of being suspicious when people remove all the descriptive text as well
  7. And if you don't delete the images, you will reach your allowed space limit quite quickly. When my items are sold, I only remove the images for that reason, the rest is remaining, if there was a way to let them without reaching my allowed space limit, I would do so...
  8. Wow - that’s a lot. The timings and running orders have been leaked and most bands only seem to be getting 15 minute slots, with Metallica only getting 30 mins. im glad I am not going tbh
  9. The classic small footprint MB150S combo with GK carry bag. Often used by great DB players eg Charlie Haden and (I am told) many studio recordings on electric bass too. I bought this on the forum 15 months ago for an acoustic project that didn't ultimately happen, so its literally unused since I acquired it. Good condition compared with most MB150S combos (which scratch very easily). I don't currently have a strong enough box so its meet up only in a safe public space in London SW13 (Barnes, south of perma-closed Hammersmith Bridge).
  10. I think it is a waste, and would encourage people to leave them as a locked thing, but there is nothing to stop someone editing their posts, and if someone doesn't want their images there they can just remove them and there isn't anything that can be done about it. Luckily it is only a small minority of posts that go like that
  11. Rok it to the moon. Stranglers
  12. An active circuit would get rid of a hum induced in the cable, but if the hum is induced in the pickups there is nothing an active circuit can do about it. If I sit by my computers with one of my basses with the nordy singles, I get a hum, but can get rid of it by just tilting the bass at another angle.
  13. Next Glastonbury will be Coldplay playing 12 sets each day on each of the 5 main stages.
  14. Fry me to the moon - Frank Sinatra
  15. I watched GB News once out of curiosity. It was exhausting keeping up with the outrage and depressing listening to them talk about how terrible life in Britain is (and they claim to be patriotic!) And then they got in to talking about how handsome and wonderful their mate Nigel is. They're politically unbiased you know? They said so many times and they wouldn't lie would they?
  16. There's A Guy Works Down the Chip Shop - Kirsty McColl

that’s interesting, for me the aggressive Wavefolding is what I like about that pedal - and my gain pot is pretty good for most of its range, which schematic did you use? Will it do the wah wah thing with a volume pot that Justin medal Johnson showed in the video with pedals and effects? in terms of blend…. The prunes and custard does have a blend already, and a switch to inject extra low end into the signal … what have you built if there’s no blend??! SMD stuff - I cheated and got jlcpcb to do the assembly for me! So much simpler and cost effective. My laziness means ild like to try replacing the film caps with smd parts - but know it’s not quite so simple as that - and when I looked for some values the c0g part cost more than a box film cap would. I will check it out, I’ve been looking at the fdeck one and the broughton one for inspiration so far.
  18. My brother’s friend paid several thousand pounds for two tickets.
  19. The annual clear out of excess basses, pedals etc begins ....

  20. Last week I released a YouTube video where I analysed Chas Chandler's walking line from an Animals Classic, and used this to show how to walk over one chord and make it sound exciting. I've now made a demo video of me playing the whole of Chas's bass line from 'Bury My Body.' Although the walking bass sections are fast, this is really fun to play and it's got an easy main riff. The walking section is pure Chandler gold! You can also grab a free PDF transcription of the whole bass line by clicking the link in the video description. Enjoy!
  21. Anyone use this patch live?
  22. Two lightly used EMG TBTW pickups, with all originally provided parts, cables, etc. and original packaging. In full working order. These contain both a jazz and a humbucking pickup, with a push-pull knob to switch between the two. The jazz is hum cancelling with a phantom coil when in use. I had these in a 70s jazz spacing, and the switching between different pickup types plus the normal jazz-style volume-volume-tone gives a nice variety of tones. https://www.emgpickups.com/tbtw.html £70 each or £130 for the pair, posted to the uk. Contact me for postage elsewhere.
  23. Perfect for the start of "Blockbuster"
  24. Rewire the 4 ohm 2x15 so it's two 8 ohm 1x15s sharing a box, get a second Elf, and split the signal between them.
