  1. Past hour
  2. Please allow me to add that, from my own experience, this fellow ^^ is a Good Egg. That is all; carry on, folk.
  3. Wow, I love it, I've just bought their record. Superb Fazioli piano too, certainly my favourite brand, they sound amazing.
  4. one nit pick: the chrome neck pickup cover is for a P, its wider than a J cover
  5. Oh yes, she has just as many chops on the cello as the bass too. On top of all that, she seems like the nicest person too. Don’t you just hate her?
  6. Hi Phil - I think its around 9lb weight - I can actually weigh it if you want an exact answer thanks Best Michael
  7. DPA 4099B Double Bass Supercardioid Condenser Microphone The microphone is 10 years old. It has a had a new £105 DPA MICRODOT 3 pin XLR adapter with belt clip fitted this summer, replacing the old one. I have had the long wire wrapped in electrical tape and tucked in behind the tailpiece. This has left sticky residue on the cable, which will most likely be taped back up again. There is an opening to one part of the wire, I had sealed with electrical tape but I wanted to show it so I have removed the tape. The microphone is in perfect working order. This microphone is £475 new. The foam windscreen is also new and there is a case of four spares included in the sale.
  8. £50 price reduction Trades - X Touch Universal. Try me with anything, I can only say no 😁 Great bass in good condition, comes with hard case. Short scale. Not a heavy bass. Plays well. Not really any damage to speak of. There’s a little bit at the top of the headstock (photographed) but looks much worse than it actually is. I’ve removed the strap lock pins and replaced them with the originals that were odd when I got it. The case is old but fully function and all the clasps work. Can post at buyers expense or can be collected from BB22SH Any questions please ask.

  9. I had the stereo and sold it. Regretted it and bought the mono. It really is the Swiss Army knife of amp world. I’ve got a Markbass Evo 1 to try out at the moment which basically, has the Multiamp amps and effects but has two independent channels, which is exactly what I need. I think it’s what I’ve been looking for, for a long time 😁
  10. You're welcome, Dunc! GLWTS!
  11. I'd put the POG2 before the Big Muff, as the Muff will affect the tracking on the octaves. Experiment with chorus before and after the Muff, it makes a big difference!
  12. @HeadlessBassist, you'll find the answer discretely hidden in this........
  13. knock £150 or so off and I'll take it?
  14. They explicitly said they weren’t discontinuing the original. I definitely want the upgraded version (when it comes down in price a chunk) for the bigger headphone port and full-size MIDI ports. The automated fils will be useful too.
  15. Mine are all shorties! Two just P, and one PJ. One P and the PJ have flats, and the other has rounds.
  16. I always suspected Julia Hofer was classically trained in some way, shape or form. Now I find out she's a Cellist like me. Interesting performance, too...
  17. Don’t worry about that, I’d buy it if I could
  18. David Gage The Realist Regular Life Line Passive Pick Up Barely used. Natural and powerful sound. Comes with jack mount fitting clips. Piezoceramic pickups for double basses with adjustable bridges. Can be mounted directly onto the height-adjustable screws without glue or other fasteners. For bridge screws with maximum diameters of 8 mm. Delivers more punch than the Copperhead. £4.50 for UK postage.
  19. Magnetic strips are good. Think I was £18 for 4 interlocking lengths of 600mm. That would be far more than you'd need. Only reason I bought so much is my 45 years working as a carpenter has saw my collection of chisels, drivers, punches etc grow 4-fold 😆 Workshop is jam packed with back-ups, older replaced, partial sets and tools used once. Barely put a dent in the tool pile, my jobbing kit fills 4 tool bags in the back of the car 😆
  20. ....apologies if the post above looks a bit ridiculous. For perspective I'm ancient, a mediocre bassist and not exactly eye candy nowadays! I'm fortunate enough to have picked up a few decent gigs of late though
  21. Ha! I sold my Mustang a month ago. Again, lovely bass but I had no practical earning use for it.
  22. Definitely US. This came from a parts bass made by a Sadowsky employee. No real markings on it to identify as such. The pickups were scrubbed out and headstock left blank for fear of repercussions. I still have the neck - Brazillian rosewood fingerboard, Graphtech nut, Schaller tuners.
