  2. I'm building an interesting fretless and am thinking about a circuit to go with the MM and P-Bass pickups (Nordy Big Splitman and NP4A respectively). I'm wondering what folk's experience has been with a J-Retro with either type of PUP, not necessarily the Nordies in partisular. I'm also interesting in whether there might be any issues using MM/P-Bass PUPs through an active circuit e.g., balance/interaction between the two?
  3. One - Three Dog Night
  4. Shipping should be possible as I'm getting a new cab in a couple of weeks so I can recycle the packaging from that.
  5. You know my name, look up the number - Beatles
  6. I just ordered a new pedal board and a power supply will be coming next week too. So I suppose I'm out too now.
  7. Someone asked for it - the complete bass performance of 'Robbery, Assault and Battery' from the 1976 Genesis album, 'A Trick Of The Tail'. Good luck. You're gonna need it! 😎 https://bilbosbassbites.co.uk/robbery-assault-and-battery-genesis/

  9. I have never done that. It was vodka... Congrats on the bass and I hope you love it and bond with it.
  10. For sale is my Vanderkley MNT 112 which was bought New from Bass Direct in 2020. 600W RMS and 17kg. The cab is in immaculate condition and always stored in the Roqsolid branded Vanderkley cover. I’ve recently bought the LNT 210 4ohms version, which renders the MNT112 surplus to requirements. Considering the above, this is Sale Only, and not interested in trades. Collection only from BD11 between Bradford and Leeds.

  16. 2010 US Stingray, 2EQ, CAR with rosewood board. One of the limited edition 133 basses, full fat ‘ray but with a soft gig bag case instead of a hard shell job. This is in excellent condition with one very minor ding on the top edge, and the pickguard is quite marked but obviously easily replaceable. Comes with a Hipshot D-tuner (long key though instead of short… doh), if you want the original tuner key I’ll chuck it in. I’ve also replaced the pickup with a Nordstrand MM4.2, which sounds flippin’ great. She’s quite heavy (10lb) but with a decent wide strap it feels ok. Loathe to post this but can at buyer’s (insured) expense, or can meet in person at either Portsmouth, Southsea, Southampton or Lymington (I’m on the I.O.W.)

  17. I've got nothing until next weekend. Not my favorite gig. However, we get an air conditioned trailer. Maple Road August 9th, 2025 Major Goolsby's Stage Wisconsin State Fair West Allis WI. Daryl
  18. Hi Dave, First time I saw a Ric was when The Beatles released the " Hello Good Bye" video to our Sunday Night Ed Sullivan Show. First time I saw Paul without the Violin Hofner. I thought it looked super cool. Daryl
  19. Dave, I would like a Ric for the sole reason of the iconic look. I've heard they're not easy to maintain. Daryl
  20. Purchased almost 2 years ago. It hasn't seen much use but there are a couple of paint chips on the top (see last photo for details). In full working order. Able to post for £5.
  21. Hello again. It's been 5 days since I pm'd you regarding this and no reply. Is it still available? Ta.

  24. For sale, my mint condition X32 Producer. Just under 2 years old and bought by me from Andertons, it's been flight cased from new. I used it at home to learn digital desks and then did a few rehearsals plus about 10 gigs before I upgraded to a bigger desk. I've kept it as a backup, but am now looking to upgrade my main desk again, and therefore this is surplus to requirements. All faders, encoders and buttons, ins and outs working perfectly. Will be restored to factory settings before it goes, and am more than happy to spend some time with the buyer to show them how it all works if needed. It's a great first desk if upgrading from analogue and a nice compact size for gigging, but also ideal for a home studio setup, or for an IEM rig. It can be rack mounted and the rack ears will be included. All the specs are available on the Behringer website, but this has 16 local ins, 8 outs plus 8 aux ins/outs. Can be expanded to 32in/16 outs with a behringer stage box (S16 or SD16) and you can record multitracks to a DAW via the 32 channel interface. Priced to sell at £750, which is a good saving on new with the flight case which was £200 on its own. Collection from Chelmsford, or will drive a reasonable distance for a meet up. Payment via cash or BACS. Please DM me if you have any questions.
