*Update* This has now been sold Listing here first to give people who know what this is an opportunity to see it! Anyone who knows what this bass is knows how special it is (pun not intended). Made in Japan between 1984-87 this has buckets of tone from a reversed P pickup in the neck position and a J pickup at the bridge. There’s a pickup selector switch and after that’s where the electronics get fun - I’m not going to attempt to explain it myself, so here’s a link to an image made by a Talkbass user to explain: https://goo.gl/images/Yg4bSb I bought this from Johnny Roadhouse in Manchester in July 2009 so have no idea what it’s story is before then, but this was my main bass for the next 5 years - I’m selling now because it’s hardly been used since then and deserves more than being sat in a bag in my spare room. There are quite a few dings as per the pictures, most of which were already there when I got it - I’d be lying if I said I haven’t added to them though. I’m selling with the flight case because the foam insert is shaped for a P bass and this is the last P shaped bass I own, but will sell without the case for £400. I’m open to offers and may consider a trade. I’m in Manchester and would prefer buyer to collect or to meet somewhere rather than arrange anything with a courier.
