  4. latest addition to the cheap 1590a gang
  5. My Cobra was black and green. We also had a Cobra (keyboard) amp which was black and orange
  6. Yes I will be selling the whole board. Listings to follow!
  7. I pulled this as the new price has dropped below £500 now. However, on reflection I think £600 for the amp in mint condition, plus the bluetooth adapter, footswitch and carry bag is still a good deal, so it's back up again.
  8. Think this looks fab, unfortunately out of my range right now so have a bump on me
  9. I had one of those from about 2001 to 2022. It did its job. I donated it to a local music school and as far as I know it's still going.
  10. Thanks for the replies. The plan is not to fill the whole slot, just pack it out at the bottom by a mm or two, although im sure to get to that I will need to file it. I have the wife's baking soda and the glue, I'll get some sandpaper and should be good to go. It's only a plastic nut and if I bodge it up too much I'll get a new one fitted. Should really do that anyway but I need the bass at home for the next few weeks while im learning some songs for a couple of gigs in July.
  11. He was bassist in Pink Flod I think…….
  12. Reduced to £550 - crazy cheap for this awesome rig!
  13. Yeh, I believe it may be more recent versions that don't have it. They don't help themselves with all the renaming - I'm sure someone further up the food chain thinks it's funny
  14. According to wikipedia he was an architect who worked on the Thames Barrier and redevelopment of Covent Garden. It doesn't say anything about his bass playing, though. 😁
  15. Photo added as per marketplace rules above.
  16. Never gigged one but my guitarist has one in his studio and it keeps up with a drum kit just about! Very easy to dial in a good sound too. With a bit of PA support this should serve you well 👍
  17. Id never heard of this brand until seeing this thread, turns out I've just moved house about 1/4 mile from their old factory site! Spooky
  18. I think your answers were just above in this thread @gorandelac. 😉
  19. Today
  20. I read @Rich linked article yesterday, and at least he is very positive, like the guy to whom I bought a digital piano last week and who was also diagnosed Parkinson a few years ago. I never really liked the poppy music A-Ha were doing back then, but Morten Harket is a very talented singer for sure and what a voice.
  21. So I've just taken off the dragon skin plus strings I put on in January. They lasted well for most of that time but did die off quite a bit over the last few weeks. That is home practice for 30-60 mins probs 5 days a week with a rehearsal or gig every couple of weeks. YMMV of course. Had hoped for a bit longer, but really great strings.
  22. LOL, correction fail
  23. Maybe read it again carefully. Hint, it is not the "Roger" bit 😉
