  2. Chive Talkin’ - The Bee Gees
  3. Selling what is one of the best jazz basses I've played. Upgraded with noiseless Fender pickups and Fender hi-mass bridge. Collection from Bristol preferred, but happy to meet up halfway (within reason :D). Am also around Cardiff/Bridgend are quite regularly

  4. What's ironic is the high status those basses have achieved coupled with (some) people's snobbery of Pau Ferro fretboards. I have no issue with PF and would really like to try a Roscoe Beck to see what I've been missing. Never seen one though so...
  5. Pudding Thyme - Primus
  6. Those Roscoe Beck Fenders really are a Unicorn Bass these days. I'd imagine most are in the hands of collectors. I used to play one occasionally at a Jam Session in Nottingham in the 90s. Back then, it was just another nice Fender. Speaking of which, here's a nice one for sale on Reverb...
  7. Sage Sage Sage - Paul McCartney & Michael Jackson
  8. And I had exactly that and sold it in France. It's my biggest regret.

  19. Hi, No but I can record some when I get home.
  20. Thanks.
  21. Sorry for the lack of context - I’m mainly trying to see what others are using and do a bit of research based on people’s recommendations. I’ve tried quite a few combos and so far the Eich BC112Pro has been the best for me - but I’m still not fully satisfied with anything I’ve used. I’m also not looking to go with a separate head and cabinet as I’d like to avoid carrying more individual pieces of equipment/cables around.
  22. had a cracking gig on Saturday at The Hertford Corn exchange with U2 Tribe. Great sound and a great turnout and apart from completely messing The Fly up, I had a really good gig
  23. I had the same a few times. I have one of the old Evox which is wood and flat that you can put a pint on, and one of the new, that is not flat, and you can't. So I put the wood one near me so I can tell people not to do it (and I put stuff on it(). I never bother with the other one as it is clearly not flat. But at a gig on new years some woman put a full pint on it, the slopey surface, that is vibrating like mad. Clearly it fell straight off, mostly into the guitarists pedalboard. In her defence I guess she was so drunk I am not sure how she was still upright.
