I quoted your assertions not your prejudices. -
Trades - X Touch Universal, maybe Alto TS215. Great bass in good condition, comes with hard case. Short scale. Not a heavy bass. Plays well. Not really any damage to speak of. There’s a little bit at the top of the headstock (photographed) but looks much worse than it actually is. I’ve removed the strap lock pins and replaced them with the originals that were odd when I got it. The case is old but fully function and all the clasps work. Can post at buyers expense or can be collected from BB22SH Any questions please ask.

Emergency amp needed: Advice on options please.

You only find out how good retailers are when something goes wrong tbh, any idiot can stick something in a box and take your money in exchange. Well maybe not the guy who packed your amp but the point still stands. -

Bought some B strings from Pete. Excellent communication, well packed and very fast delivery. Deal in total confidence.

I think they are. They demand a distinct right and left hand technique, especially with regard to muting, and a different mindset with regard to the scale patterns you use. No. There's an optimal number related to the size of a typical human hand. A typical five is too wide to allow thumb muting and left hand fingers access to all strings without a lot more wrist flexion.

Have just arrived - that was quick. Externally identical to the Lekato WS-90, just charging them up now. Will report further in a bit. -
These are lovely little amps with the typical, great Phil Jones Bass sound and superb build quality. It has had a very easy life, kept in its box when not in use and only used in the home (or on the occasional UK holiday). It has a 3 band eq, headphone socket for quiet practice, excellent Bluetooth for playing along with the iPad (or Aux in) and at 35 watts is more than enough for the home. It weighs just 2.4kgs. There is a tiny indentation on the top left hand corner of the combo but of course this does not affect the functionality of the unit in any way. I have the original box, so postage (at buyer’s cost) will not be a problem. Collection in person is welcomed.

Surely that should have been a Roy Orbison tribute? 🤓 Btw I have never heard of Ms Kenworthy! -

I've bought from G4M before with no problems. This is not at all impressive.

I've been away from here for a long time. I've not checked out any members here for a long time.

I've been absent from here for quite a few years. This is my first post in coming back. I've not checked any of these people out. I do, however, know Gary Mac. He's really good and a nice guy too. He lives in Hoddesdon. If you struggle to get hold of him, contact me. I'll help out, if you're still in need of help.

I've got my beady eye on something, so this lovely condition 2023 Aubergine Fender American Performer Mustang is first for the chopping block. It's been with me for a few months and is set up beautifully with 40-95 Elixirs (of course!) Plays like a dream and is in excellent condition with no scratches or dings that I can see. It has only been used for one set on one gig in our live tribute show, so it's not earning its keep and therefore has to go. Comes complete with bill of sale from original owner and the original Fender Deluxe Gig Bag & case candy. I would record you a demo, but I'll let 'Nick Campbell Destroys' do the honours below - he does a lot better job than me! For sale at £825. (New price is £1400 these days!) Interesting trade options considered. Buyer to collect, or can meet half way at a distance of up to 100 miles.

Up for sale is this Behringer Monopoly. A great little clone of the Korg original. Four Oscillators can be played in unison for massive basses/leads etc or played in a polyphonic mode for chords. Lots of sync/ mod options too. This one is pretty much mint and comes with the box. Only used for a short recording project and never gigged or even rehearsed with.

Large headstock (but surprisingly little dive), single Bartolini, standard Zon electrics…
