  2. Hi mate, the silk is purple on these ones. Dan fitted them and said they were ernie ball. But I think they are cobalt maybe not TI?
  3. What was that..? Sorry, I'm a little Mutton-Jeff from all that Metal...
  4. Selling my Anaconda Ultra J4 Esscence Fantastic bass I just prefer my 5 string due to a narrower string spacing . Active bass with passive switch . Homemade removable ramp couple or minor dings (see pics) will be well packed for UK shipping only. any questions just pm me Cheers John
  5. Hi Guy's Im after a set of Cover's for a Acoustic CAORPORATION 320 / 408 Bass Rig if possible from 1975 / 76 . I live Manchester.
  6. That's lovely. Ti Flats are by Thomastik and have red silks. Just thought I'd mention it.
  7. There's always been a sale table - no reason why this can't be the case here.
  8. You could put them in the raffle? 😉
  9. The second option on that page. The first has entirely too much going on. If you've already got a stereo TRS to split mono TS cable then a suitable lightning to jack headphone adapter that you might already have would do as well.
  10. Just to manage expectations - as I am getting excited about this already - is there any reason why I can't pack my car with cabs and other random bass kit I have collected over the years, and then just comment on the day that I am open to offers should anyone else want to buy any of it from me? Note I am not a business, just someone whose bass collection has got a little bit out of control and this could be a good opportunity to pass some bits of it on to others without faffing with ebay/postage?
  11. Used, in great condition except the zip has a tendency to do what Pedaltrain gigbag zips have a tendency to do. Velcro already on, plus a tiny bit underneath where I had a power isolator. Price is posted to mainland UK. Please forgive the upside down pics 😆

  12. Brice Springsteen for the megafan. Concert tours in Europe since 1981. Signed copy. REP £24.99, yours for £12, posted UK.
  13. Was always fond of the venerable Catch-O-Matic. But I don't believe they're being made any more (unless someone knows differently - if so, post a link!).
  14. I've probably said this before but I'd challenge anyone to listen to Feel It Still on that recording and say you can't do bass properly without backline. You really nailed that tone, and live too.
  15. Intelligent, wide ranging and enjoyable survey of an amazing career. £9 posted UK.
  16. You're right. It was the first of the 2 I tried (using a strap), and something about staring down that sleek neck, those sharp-looking black tuning knobs spread along both sides of the head just made me feel cool yknow :)).
  17. You can get shipping insurance. Parcel2go looks pretty cheap to ship this.
  18. And also make sure it’s good for playing metal… well, someone had to say it …. @lvrossem it’s a running joke around these parts
  19. Protection Racket gig bag now included along with postage costs now included in the price ☺️
  20. Thank you guys. so something like this for the first option above @fretmeister ? https://amzn.eu/d/cYndhXa
  21. Thank you for the clarification, and at 43 to 46 years old, she's still "vintage".
  22. I know, but hear me out. On stage - a Hercules that grabs the neck and won’t fall over. No question. But at home, most stands are a bit ugly aren’t they. I saw this on FB and originally laughed - but then I bought one. I like the Danish design language and I buy most things advertised to me. https://openhagen.com/en-gb/collections/stands/products/nordic-fold-floor-stand it got me thinking about what other ridiculous stands there are out there, and I came across these. What’s that? No money for food this week? Well that’s because I bought a mini leather chair for my bass https://minimstudio.co/shop Does anyone else have some luxury stands to share? Im actually quite impressed with the Openhagen - it’s nicely made and won’t leave impressions on the carpet. It might be allowed to stay in the lounge.
  23. About 15yrs ago i could buy a new Ric in Guitar Guitar for approx £1400. Then they jus seemed to shoot thru the roof with their prices. Dave
  24. Roland VT3 - £120
