  2. The big fail with Epiphone guitars was this frankly nonsensical adherence to their (traditional) headstock shape, not that its mattered with Explorers, Flying Vs or the more recent Thunderbirds. Even though I don't need another bass, a faithful Grabber or Ripper reproduction might picque my interest, so long as it's accurate (the Thunderbird bodies are some way off). Let's see Les Paul Jones and Melody Makers as well.
  3. I use mine nearly every day. I've had a other similarly sized practice amps which had rather an uninspiring tone, but the bass cube RX actually sounds like a proper amp. The fliptop emulation is my favourite.
  4. Hi Dave, I was looking for those threads! I nearly took this off you myself, however it was another owner or two later that it became mine! I believe the last work done was Martin at the Gallery again with a slight reprofile to the back of the body. I've only given it it a little fettle here and there and a set up to my taste, probably seven years ago now so apart from strings it remains as I got it and bloody fine thing it is! Still if my 55-60 goes I'll keep it.....or vice versa lol! Gaucho
  5. Hi, A very well balanced 10lbs 5ozs this one, so no fly-weight however not heavy IMO. Regards Gaucho
  6. Yeah I have a strict one in one out policy in place….I just got a Cort GB75 which whilst is not as premium gets more play that than the higher quality A4. This are a serious quality bass. Very much a sleeper. My friend who has a Warwick Streamer Stage II says the Cort isn’t a million miles from it in sound and feel. His words as a Warwick owner of 25 years
  7. One of my fav albums of all time. Still listen to it regularly. The perfect live album IMO of course. Dave

  9. I use mine with my Morningstar controller which can act as the interface too so no need to unplug/disassemble anything - simply hook up a usb cable to the Morningstar et voilá!
  10. Not yet, not a priority for me being a living room bassist, but I was eyeballing this one as I don't plan to spend a fortune: https://www.thomann.de/gb/thomann_uke_bass_baritone_uke_gigbag.htm Apparently baritone uke bags work.
  11. @BabyBlueSound have you been able to source a suitable gig bag or lightweight case?
  12. Or alternatively Pedro was a native of California being paid a Californian salary. The difference in price due to wages and infrastructure being the biggest difference between MIA and high end MIM Fenders IMO.
  13. A violin case belonging to my wife that’s no longer needed. It reminds me of my old Sadowsky bass case - lightweight but high levels of protection. All zips work fine. Price includes UK shipping but collection is fine. It may be possible to meet up too depending on where and when.
  14. PRICE REDUCED TO £500. I recently acquired this cab in a trade but I have no need for it myself. It's in great condition and the sound is impressive. It comes with the Genzler branded soft cover too. These cabs are £899 at Bass Direct (reduced from £1,099) so I think I've priced it competitively and at less than the trade value I took it for. Here's a really comprehensive article on the cab which gives you everything you would want to know about it - https://www.bassgearmag.com/genzler-ba12-3-slt-bass-cab/ Collection from Kinver near Stourbridge or I might be able to meet you on my gig travels. No trade offers, sale only.

  16. Haha yeah I've heard the Squeezer is a bit of a nightmare to tackle. Don't get me wrong, having to hook up my Future Impact over the years has taught me a lot about synthesis etc, but it's a bit of a faff having to take it off my board every time I want to update patches/access full options (probably why I haven't done so in about 3 years now haha!)
  17. Squint at the right points in this video and you can see Mike Rutherford with his Shergold double-neck (not mine) in this selections from Genesis live in 1977
  18. Hi Here is my 2019 Fender Player Precision, Black and Maple Precision up for sale. I picked this up from a fellow BC'r on here about a year ago in a trade. Its a lovely thing, plays well, sounds just like a P should and is set up with a medium/low action. The neck is perfect with no blemishes, the body has some very small pitting above the pickguard, I have tried to capture it on the pictures but its not easy and invisible to sight or feel when playing. There is also a very small blemish on the bottom of the body which I have tried to capture. I have a tort, white and black pickguard for this bass, all included in the sale. Only selling as I'm sooo in love with my RW 50's Precision that this beauty is redundant. Any questions just ask. Collection from Milton Keynes or reasonable distance meet up.
