  2. Here we have a fantastic Glockenlang preamp, comprising Volume, Treble and Bass controls. Pull passive tone circuit activated from Push/Pull vol control. This was removed by my tech from another bass I got in a trade. If you use a twin pickup bass you will just need to obtain a suitable balance pot. The details: GLOCKENKLANG 2-band onboard preamp Active/passive switchable (at the volume push/pull) Treble-pot with +/- 18 dB@18 KHz in active mode, acting as classical high cut in passive mode Bass-pot with +/- 14 dB@40 Hz. Input-impedance (without Balance): 1,5 MOhm Frequency range: 20 Hz -20 KHz Power requirement: 9 volts/1,3 mA Min. installation depth: 28 mm (1.1″) Due to the high performance electronics, in flat position of the eq you can hear no difference between active and passive mode! £75 inc postage. Paypal (you pay fees) or bank transfer both fine. Please see my extensive positive feedback thread for assurance of a simple, honest transaction.
  3. Has the neck gone? I have more pickups than I will ever need 😊 Thanks Rob
  4. Bought a Boss DS-330 from Ash. Absolutely mint, boxed - couldn't have found a better example anywhere else. Thank you! It's great to have it back in my world to revive some old tracks from the 90s.
  5. Will part trade toward a cali76 CB cash your way.
  6. Lovely, congratulations John 😎

  8. Thanks for the suggestions guys. So I literally just need vol/vol or vol/blend (not fussed) b/t, and a passive switch ideally. I'm more than happy for stacked controls. Just no idea where to turn. In regards to liking the sound, I love it, but I want flexibility on board. If I'm playing live, I dont want to have to fiddle with pedals mid gig to get a slightly different tone. Plenty do that I knkw, just not for me. Thanks for the suggestions.
  9. Is it still for sale ?
  10. Jings i was just talking to my wife about celebrating our 30th Anniversary with a lobster dinner somewhere if i can find a restaurant that sells them. I do like lobster you lucky sod. Dave

  13. FTFY. Granted it was an excellent bass sound, but I am finding that rock and metal bass tones now fall into one of two categories 1) Sansamp 2) Darkglass GnR were woeful. Only polished thing about them were Axl Rose's teeth. He absolutely butchered Never Say Die. I haven't heard a singer that out of time since the vocalist in my first band and that was 28 years ago.

  15. Hi all, The speaker in my Markbass Mini CMD 121P (Combo Head II) has failed, and I’m looking for a suitable 12" replacement. Here are the specs I need to match: Impedance: 8 ohms Power handling: 400W RMS (AES rated) Amp output: 300W RMS @ 8 ohms (500W @ 4 ohms) Cabinet type: rear-ported bass reflex It doesn't have to be the exact same speaker model that originally came with the combo, and I don’t mind if the replacement is a little heavier than the original (I know Markbass uses neodymium drivers, but weight isn't that much an issue for me). Has anyone here replaced the speaker in this exact combo before? I'd love to hear what you used and how it worked out — especially in terms of fit, screw holes, tone, and handling the amp’s output. I don’t have much technical knowledge about amps or speakers, so any advice in plain language would be very helpful. Preferably, the speaker should be available through Thomann. Thanks in advance for your help!
  16. Problem solved, La Bella LTFs, thanks everyone for taking time out to help 👏👏👏
  17. Amazing amp! Only selling as I’ve just bought a Mesa that will do 2ohms, which I need. Excellent condition, 900w at 4ohms and I think 600w at 8ohms. Really does sound superb! Comes with newish Eich amp case. £375 plus P&P or collect from Plymouth. May trade for Markbass NY151 cab or possibly MB 12” combo.

  22. Hi folks, just thought I'd post an update here based on a few conversations... I appreciate this is a big - and expensive - item and it's a long way to travel for many people so I've had a think about how far south I'm able to travel for a meet up from Edinburgh... West - Abington Services on M74 East - Berwick upon Tweed. Middle - Jedburgh Hope that helps a little. It's not a heavy cabinet but it's dimensions make it difficult to package up for posting so I don't think that's an option. Thanks for the enquiries so far.
  23. Trades? Something might get my attention!
  24. Saints In Hell - Judas Priest
  25. Cool little amp for home-practice or small-medium gigs. It’s only had light home use with me, and so is in as-new condition and boxed. Part-ex’s in the form of a Guild Starfire II in ‘Natural’ or a Sire P5R 5 string in white welcome! Collection preferred from near High Wycombe, but can post for £7. Cheers Si
