  2. I think you’ll find about 10000 people who can help you with exactly that . Some are professional luthiers Probably not going to get in-person help though some members are in US Welcome
  3. I've always liked the look of these since seeing them in this
  4. Great. It’s a fantastic pedal. Love mine.
  5. Hi everyone, I'm new to Basschat and really excited to get to know the bass community here. I've been playing bass for about 2 years now, mostly 4-string electric bass, and I really like funk/jazz/rock. A few things about me: Current gear: Ibanez SR300 bass + small practice amp Goals: improve technique, especially groove, slap & fingerstyle Current challenges: sometimes having trouble setting up strings + need advice on choosing bass strings that suit my style I'm looking forward to learning from experienced bassists here — if anyone has experience setting up bass, choosing strings, or how to practice groove effectively, I'd love your advice. Also, I'd love to jam, share experiences, or listen to your music projects if you need a bassist. Nice to meet you all! Steal Brainrot Game
  6. It’s the MKIIIs and it’s absolutely brand new. They replaced the pedal over repairing it
  7. Extremely. Wonderfully versatile amp. GLWTS.
  8. I have one of these in this colour and I can vouch for how insanely nice these things are! They actually feel like a well-played vintage instrument. Fender knocked it out of the park with these basses.
  9. A Thousand Beautiful Things - Annie Lennox
  10. Hi all, Unfortunately, an unexpected bill has come in, which means that this excellent Fuzz/Filter from CMC Audio (who make the Proto Type overdrive) has to go. I bought it a little while ago, and honestly, while it’s excellent, it’s also the most valuable of the many fuzzes I have, so needs-must. More info from CMC here: https://cmcaudio.odoo.com/shop/bi-filter-fuzz-33 I made a video of one particular sound I liked below, but there’s more videos on their Instagram and on YouTube which shows it doing straight Fuzz tones, as well as synthy, envelope filter tones too. You can attach an expression pedal, and a holding down the footswitch means it works as a momentary switch (until you take your foot off of course), a short press and release obviously still allows a latching function. Boxed and as-new other than Velcro on bottom. I’m open to part-ex’s (what u got?), but need at least £140 cash. These are circa £230 new + plus delivery from Belgium + VAT. BFF.mov Cheers Si

  14. Very lovely looker!
  15. So, to everyone in this thread who managed to snag one before UK stock vanished, how are you finding it? I can see from his posts on Facebook groups that @shug is very impressed with his. Rob
  16. Up for grabs is my Protec Contego bass semi rigid case in fantastic condition. A small number of superficial marks from use but it doesn't have any holes and all the zips work perfectly. are currently £158 on Thomann. I'm asking £75 collected from lovely Wellingborough or £85 posted within the UK. I'm looking for a sale, no trades, ta.
  17. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
  18. Which is why I've thoughtfully added a postage option so that potential buyers don't have to suffer the trauma and indignity of visiting the god forsaken place should they choose not to.
  19. And it's a bass you can see in the photo. It'd probably be a Les Paul if it was a Marshall.
  20. Everything I Own - Ken Boothe or Bread
  21. You'll get the best results with four round ports 8cm diameter 15cm long. The rattles indicate insufficient panel to panel bracing.
  22. As opposed to agonizing over just about everything except how today the bass well in a musical way.
  23. Some nice new updates added recently, most notably to the sequencer.
  24. @thebob, were you still after one? @tayste_2000 Is it the MKIII or the MKIIIS?
  25. I would have to agree. I bought this exact model from Bass Bros in pristine condition for just shy of £1200. Great bass however
