MK Studio P EUB, with stand and original soft case, in very good condition. Now £1000. (This bass is too good to give away, so if it doesn't sell soon I'm going to keep it). I bought this from a fellow Basschatter last year as a tour backup for my Yamaha SLB 300, but it was never required, so has had very little use apart from a few hours practicing. Great design. Really well made and compact, and very quick to set up. Sounds great straight into an amp, and even better with a decent preamp. I wouldn't want to risk shipping this bass so collection in person only. I can rendezvous within 15 or so miles of Southend if necessary (M25 Thurrock Services?). PM for more details. (NB, the position markers are self adhesive stickers and can easily be removed).

Good. In the same sentence as “with your Aurok”, I just noticed that “received” has also been misspelt (currently recieved). And yes, that would be great.

For the price of the tickets I’d rather get one of these instead .. -
Indeed. But it only takes 6 hours to get there. 😀

Closer to the date I expect. Who knows what we will have bought & sold by then! 🤣 -
Predictably, "UK" = Glasgow, Manchester and London. They might as well be on feckin Jupiter.

Cooler, in fact, than the other side of the pillow. 😎 Didn't I read somewhere that the infamous cycle flasks had white wine in one and Southern Comfort in the other?

I will be trying to get tickets. I’ve been put off going to big gigs by the demand pricing that has permeated the booking systems, but Rush are are of the very few names I’m willing to overlook that for. Just to see them again at the Taylor Hawkins Trib was good; this will be great. FWIW I think the Super Deluxe re-releases are great. Anyone heard the Terry Brown remix of Distant Early Warning? The Power Windows SD might even have been announced by the time they get here 🤘 -
The upper end Chinese builds tend to be very well made.

I'm not a fan of pointy basses... but I've always had a big soft spot for the Explorer shape and I would love to get my hands on an Aria ZZB. There'd be no point (geddit??!?!!???!!?) and I'd never use it, but I'd still like one. Who said GAS was logical?

Typos are the kind of thing that I was hoping might be picked up. Thanks! Hopefully with more necks coming to the UK, there might be a chance to play one at a Bassbash somewhere, or maybe even the Guitar and Bass show next year if finances permit.

Is it too early for a who's-bringing-what rollcall? @Rich - Wal Pro 2E, JayRay (Jaydee fretless neck on OLP Ray body), TC BG250 combo, pedals and stuff I expect

Is there a who's-bringing-what-gear list? -
Definitely cool.

War Pigs always gets our audience singing along too, especially at the end.

Well, if the zombie apocolypse hit tomorrow and I needed to defend myself with a bass, a Steinberger L2 or XL2 would be my weapon of choice. BTW, I had a XL25 for a year or so but couldn't get on with the ergonomics.

I’ve got one of those Albridge bridges going begging if you need one. I’ll get around to listing it here at some point.

What's the going rate for Stingrays nowadays?
albertoss replied to Supernaut's topic in General Discussion
I’d say that’s more instagram dealers artificially driving up used prices, some of the ones I’ve seen are described us being in much better condition than they actually are also.
