  1. Past hour
  2. No but it looks like something a gay Klingon would play. 😂
  3. Wanted to fit a string retainer for the B&E strings, the tension ripped it right out. They're actually pretty small holes, but wanted to show them up close.
  4. Me too. If it was also less ugly, a different shape and a nicer colour.
  5. This post cannot be displayed because it is in a forum which requires at least 1 post to view.
  6. Posting this here in case anyone is looking for a PA amp, although it will knock out 700W into 8 ohms mono bridged as an instrument amp. Hugely versatile 1U rackmount Class D design only 25cm deep, lots of inputs (see photos) output to speakers from speakon or binding posts Brand new, tested working, but never used in anger. Courier would be about £15
  7. One Swan 3U flightcase only used a few times and still in almost perfect condition. Usual bomb-proof construction in aluminium and ply with rack ears for standard M6 rack screws Internal depth between the two sets of rack ears is 40cm Approximate total size of the case is 50cms deep x 51cms wide x 20cms high There are about 3cms depth inside each lid to allow for switches, knobs and buttons on any installed equipment. Postage at cost, or come and pick it up. It weighs 7.8 kg so I'm anticipating it might cost £12-15 to courier.
  8. If you're playing for hours this bass is your friend
  9. You sure you not gonna ship it to mainland EU, mate?
  10. It's in as new condition. Can post for an extra £5. Would swap for a rack tuner.
  11. Bloke obviously hasn’t seen our pedalboard thread
  12. Today
  13. And then there's the hours of learning how to operate all of that.
  14. Our Lady of Blessed Acceleration - Pig Iron
  15. Since you're all there, here's a few random photos. I realise I fretted without taking a single pic. So here's the all important preparation before fretting. I've learned the very very hard way to check every slot is deep enough before starting to fret. A bent over piece of fretwire with the tangs filed off is perfect. When I glued on the black/white veneer on to the bottom of the fretboard, some of the epoxy seeped through into the slots. Time to bring out the world's tiniest saw... Then side dots. With another of my fugly jigs. Honestly, there should be a law against it....
  16. There'll be none left from that seller now, Peter's bought 'em all!
  17. I hate the word 'content' We used to create music, now it's just content...ones and zeroes to a funky beat! If content be the food of love then stream on and on and on...until we break even If we're lucky 😆
