  2. For sale is my TC Electronic GMajor-2 multi effects unit in fully working condition and updated to the latest firmware. Pictures show it in its usual rack home (rack not included). Although most of the standard effects are aimed at the guitarist I have found the compressor, gate, flanger, phaser and octaver (up and down) etc. to be very useable for bass. I can either factory reset before shipping or leave the presets I have created intalled. It has built in EQ, noise gate, compressor, reverbs, delays, wahs, octaver, tremolo, phaser, flanger etc each of which can be switched in / out from the front panel as required. I have been using this via my amps effects loop and found the compressor (and all the effects) just add their effect without changing the fundamental sound of the bass. Comes with original box and operating manual. You can use the unit in your DAW as well as with your bass / guitar etc. Patches can be easily selected from the front panel or attach a midi-pedal (I used a MidiMoose). There is also some Vyzor software you can download from the net which allows you to interface your PC with the GMajor-2 to edit and backup your user patches. I have also attached the GMajor-2 and Vyzor manuals below. tc_electronic_g-major_2_manual_english.pdfVyzor_G-Major2_Quick-Start.pdf I estimate UK shipping about £10 to £15.

  4. I have just gone through a lot of my studio / PA gear and removed the excess insert and patch cables etc. and have gathered together quite a collection of connectors. Some of the items are brand new never been used but all are in great condition and fully functional. I could be persueded to a bulk buy reduction. Postage would be based on how many and destination. The table below gives as much info on model / style as I know.
  5. 1 rack unit is gone so the only one left is the lower one in the photos. For sale is my used but not abused EMS 500 19" rack case. The rack is currently assembled as 6U but can be reconfigured as 3U, 6U simply by removing some bolts and panels - 10 min job! You can also configure it so the top removes for mixers. The rack is currently assembled to a board with castors which isn't included in the sale and will be removed before shipping.........unless you really, really want it and then it would be an extra £20 and whatever the increased postage is. These are quite special cases as they are modular construction where you can increase or decrease the number of rack spaces by easily adding or removing side and end panels. All you need is an allen key! You can also use them with a mixer installed in the top and the top panel can be easily removed! See the photo of how I had the units set up for my band PA. (None of the rack equipment is included.) All catches etc are in good condition. Rack to rack depth is 48cm. Weight per 6U assembly is 18lbs / 8.2kg. See the attached brochure for more details. The 6U Gator version of this case weighs 13lbs so slightly lighter but is NOT as rigid, road resilient or has the flexiblity options. As these are modular I would propose they are dismantled and flat packed for shipping to reduce the cost. I'll give details on how to re-assemble if you need but its quite straight forward. I've estimated UK postage to be £15 per unit. 6U Rack Unit 2 - the lower 6U rack unit in the photos on its own - £90 / Board with castors - £20 / Both together £100. Shipping Extra EMS.pdf
  6. It's a blessing for fretless. I actually thought it would be rosewood (like it's supposed to be according to the database of Ernie Ball) until I got another one of which I knew for sure that it's got a Pau Ferro fingerboard. Plays nice, feels warm and looks good.
  7. Here we have a Player 2 in as new condition. It has a new Badass 2 fitted and a black scratch plate - original white one supplied, will come with a brand new Fender gig bag. Weight is 4.2 kg or 9.25 lbs Collection from Paisley or localish meet up, not looking for any trades thanks.
  8. If I hadn't just shelled out for a brand new German Cali VS4 I'd have had this!
  9. Why? You're either through the PA and using your amp as a tone source and/or on stage monitor, or you don't really need more than about 500W - certainly not in your average small venue. Your choice depends on the type of sound you're after - clean or coloured. I like a coloured sound that can sound a bit valvey, but is a light weight combo. The Fender Rumble v3 500 ticks those boxes for me
  10. Don't really need anything to be honest
  11. @PinkMohawk as on about the later version. The original version (still quite recent), you simply select the patches you want (scoll and click) and then they are set to be accessed sequentially when you simply step on the centre button. You can make up to 50 patches/presets so I duplicate my EQ patch and place it in between each 'effect' patch. EQ>Flanger>EQ>OD>EQ>Octave It's easier to create/do than it is to describe! LOL
  12. I'd really like to know what do you think about these two, @Stub Mandrel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aU0P4DjnK8w https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Q_PUIp2XbE
  13. It's the Les Paul junior double cut that's his. Very light too, African khaya wood, ebony fretboard, Irongear P90s
  14. Screen is 220cm wide, when furled the whole thing is 230cm long. When I bought this it fitted in my car but a change of car and it doesn't fit in any more. Also I find it increasingly difficult to lug around. It is heavy! Almost new condition. Free to collect from Benfleet in Essex.
  15. The little black buttons that surround the switch. I really don't like it as an interface, but I also have size 13 feet and only wear Doc Martens, so, I may be a little biased there.
  16. It was ancient when I bought it 30 years ago! Pedestal drafting board, spring operated height / tilt adjustment. Board is 150cm x 90cm and the whole thing weighs a ton. Arm is off the board and board is off the base but easily reassembled. Free to collect from Benfleet in Essex but will need 2 strong backs to shift.
  17. Why are you so special that you get to just put a link to a handful of pictures, when everyone else takes a few minutes to put the effort in? I am genuinely in the market for a Wal, I see this and it p***es me right off. You’re lazy and I wouldn’t trust you as a seller as far as I could throw you.
  18. I think it depends on who's playing. Guy Pratt playing his Jazz bass made me longing for Stingray Would you say it sounds like a JB here? Guy Pratt right hand Playing his own disco Bassline
  19. Lovely looking bass there Graham.
  20. You're low 'expections' will undoubtedly be true if you can't be bothered to post photos that people can see! I'm not in the habit of clicking links that I don't trust/know, I expect the same will be true for others. Surely your asking price of £12,000 is worthy of you taking the time to post an advert that might actually sell the bass? For an example, check out the £55 Tanglewood Elf for sale here. Lots of measurements and pictures for a bass with an asking price of 0.46% of your Wal.

  22. Thanks, they look perfect, but how do you scroll through patches?
  23. Hi I will shortly be moving to using iems for gigs. As someone with tinnitus I use ear plugs to prevent any more hearing damage and would like a set of headphones that I can use that will attenuate the sound level of outside sounds to a similar level. Having had a look it looks like drummer headphones is the solution however I see that a lot of these are very bulky, is there anything that is low/low-ish profile that will protect my hearing? Thank you
