Oh, it's got to be a black guard on a sunburst Jazz. Just like my Olympic Jazz must keep its tort guard !

Bound 'n Blocks and No Tort... Result!

Yeah that's what I'm also considering but playing a set of Green Day covers on a bar stool... Meh.
-
That's the most "rock 'n roll" so far - certainly compared to sneaking out a toilet window!

This first one is a couple of weeks ago, a band called Heores, new wave, mod , ska and punk. I'm depping here, nearly 57 years old The 2nd one is from 1988. A band called Roadhouse, we did literally 4 gigs a week for 18 months till I left. I was 20 in this band -
I've always been unapologetically a pick player, previously I used Dunlop Tortex 0.6, but then I was given a sample pack from Rombo by my sister and these are my new favourites. https://rombopicks.com/de/products/rombo-guitar-pick-set-origami-eco-black-4-guitar-picks

That's interesting. Will have to watch out for that. The tablet that I use is WiFi only somaybe that will not arise. The other guys use iPhones for their monitor mixes (using a different app).

Good luck with your search. Fantastic little beasts. I luckily managed to pick one up recently and am going to hold tight to it.

Another excellent basschatter. Bought a pedal from @jezzaboy. Arrived next day with possibly the best packaging job I've seen. Highly recommended, thanks!

So, Bought this on a well known selling platform a few days ago. It was a warehouse find, and was reasonably priced. Received a call from the seller after order placement to tell me the neck was unserviceable. Just happens that I've a spare Fender 70s neck here, so I gave an offer for everything, thinking I'd fit my own neck. Well, it's arrived in 1/2 hour ago with the original neck. It's fine. Like, it plays lovely. The electrics are pretty crackily, but I'll fit solderless controls / pots that I have lying around. So I really don't know what the craic is with the supposed knackered neck, but I've scored this for a very, very good price. Feeling lucky today, as I've always been after a Fender with block inlays. Cheers

I'm a W11 user so can't really help. But all I had to do was just move the whole folder to one of my sample library drives and then just open the .nki file in Kontakt. There was no installer.

I think they also do delrin and polycarbonate ones, not sure how thick they go!

Very good condition “Producer” bag from Mono. Made from the same stuff their gigbags are made from, pretty well padded and has a large central compartment with a laptop divider, and a few zip pockets. It’s been sparingly used, I took my interface, laptop and a couple of changes of clothes with me on a couple of occasions when I had online sessions while away gigging, other than that it’s been sat in the cupboard for at least 2 years. They don’t make these anymore which is a shame, as I think it’s a nice size for carrying a few bits of hardware and cables etc. £70 collected from Ickenham, or can meet in London. Postage to be added on top if needed.

1st one. Channeling my inner Zal Cleminson at a 6th form college gig (about 1976, I think). 2nd on. Reunited with my ex Pretty Things colleague Dick Taylor (on guitar) at the SoL Party earlier this month. Singer is the ubiquitous (very) Alan Clayson. -

Was with a girl of questionable morals who bedded the singer in my band. So I broke the singers nose. I think that was a pretty acrimonious split. I dumped her too. Then shagged her best mate. seemed appropriate at the time.

Singing BVs whilst stomping on pedals is always a risky business. I’ve struggled with that one too… 🙄 -
Easily, one of the problems I find with most drive/gain demos is it always seems to be drive on full. The Spark with the gain set lower is excellent at that “ touch of hair” on the sound to warm it up and take away the harder sound of the clean notes.

Oldest (don't remember the date; that's our singer playing my drums at the time. It's an outdoor 'on the pavement' 'Fête de la Musique' event in our local town...) ... Latest..? [Shock-Horror] I'm 'playing' a recording for a past Composition Challenge. No, it didn't win, but was fun trying (until I tried to get up..! )... Embarrassed, me..? Nah..!
