I had my first Guinness Zero last night. The first few sips are pretty convincing, but by the end of the glass I'm noticing some odd flavour notes that don't quite sit right.

On a slightly related topic, I have just sold my 17kg Rumble 500 combo and bought a Markbass 4 x 10 that weighs 16kg and a Laney Digbeth 500 head to go with it. Where is the smug emoji? Having said the I`m now well skint -

You beat me to it, Chris. These VAVs don't know what they're missing. And a valve pre-amp with a Class D is like Guinness Zero (I knows, I got one).

Here we have a used but not abused Rockboard Tres 3.0 pedalboard setup that, with the addition of the power supply and patchbay, means you are set up and ready to go. No need for mains power to the board, you just charge the power supply before the gig and you can enjoy hum-free pedals all night! I've never had any issues with this setup. The battery can do a two set gig with no issue. Currently, I have left the USB cable connecting the power supply to the patchbay, so you can plug an external USB into it and charge without having to remove it. Lots of other wiring options are possible though. The carry bag is fully functional and in good overall condition, athough it has some light scuffing on the outside as you'd expect. New, all of this would have been £200, so I think £125 posted is fair. Thanks for looking EDIT: Forgot to add proof of ownership to the pictures, but hopefully pages and pages of feedback (see link in signature) will confirm I am a legit seller!

Tinnitus has been my faithful companion for so long that if it wasnt there I might feel left alone. Hearing loss is f...ing annoying. Both are relatively symmetrical - which I consider good.

Agreed on all counts - I paid [used] over £900 for my Aubergine one, and yes, they are excellent basses. There's something about the American Performer. I've got the Competition Burgundy Vintera II as well and nice bass though it is, the Am.Perf is genuinely a step above in both playability and quality. Definitely one of my go-to basses. Best of luck with the sale, Davy.

Gigged my Ashdown Drophead 200 head with a Mesa 1x15 and Mesa 16 (1x10, 2x6) and if bandmates and audience are to be believed, the effect in the room was at times visceral. The Drophead is not the most versatile of units by comparison with my Mesa heads, but it does has something rather special lurking in the glass 👍

Yep, same here. The washing machine too. The microwave is fine, however, although it is pretty aggressive by comparison.

Yes I have it, obviously worse when you are in really quiet surroundings, like now while I’m typing out this response, just a really annoying high pitched whine, had it for many years, plus my hearing is definitely getting worse, struggle to hear high frequencies i.e. the timer on the oven from a distance, I put it down to riding motorcycles and playing in bands for over forty years.

That went totally above my head but I am in awe

I use these for my shorties: https://www.thomann.co.uk/thomann_gigbag_deluxe_egitarre.htm#bewertung They offer very good protection. Handy if you are thinking of ordering anything else to spread the postage but, even with £10 added, they are excellent value. -

Awesome band, they were really unique as an all black band playing hard rock and playing it to an exceptionally high level, love these guys. Used to play Love Rears It’s Ugly Head in a rock band many years ago, I’m not sure I could still physically play it now in older age.
