  2. Beast Of Burden - Stones / Bette Midler
  3. I’ve used Moo a lot, good quality print and some nice options.
  4. You have an exciting weekend ahead, DJ! Congrats
  5. Good grief that’s a stunner!
  6. Honestly, you'll let anyone in. I've been playing bass on and off for about 15 years in various genres and have fallen into a rock covers band over the last couple of years. I'm looking to get more into modding, and broaden my horizons in instruments and playing techniques. I've owned and played a fair amount of tat over the years, this is what I currently own Basses 2024 Gretsch Streamliner Jet Club Bass (this I plan to bling) 2023 Music Man Sterling Stingray Short Scale 1979 Peavey T-40 2004 Fender Aerodyne II Jazz Bass El Cheapo Squier Tele (guitar) Amp 2010 500w Markbass CMD 102 Pedals Laney Black Country Customs The Custard Factory compressor Laney Black Country Customs Blackheath Distortion Tech21 SansAmp Bass Driver DI V2 Preamp Pedal Electro-Harmonix Nano Big Muff Pi Electro-Harmonix Bass Clone chorus Boss TU-3 tuner Boss ME-80b multi effects
  7. @PaulThePlug, the original Steinberger tuners are really smooth, not like the licensed ones. It's not an L2, but an XL2 made when the factory was moved to Newburgh, so after 1984, but remember that the company was sold to Gibson in 1987. You have to search for the serial number under the tuners on the side to date it, or if it's a transitional model (1984~1985), in the battery compartment. Check this to have all the data needed: http://www.steinbergerworld.com/L-series.htm And the intonation on this one is totally wrong...
  8. Some new colours & styles announced today...rainbow sparkle DP and Merc 4 and 5 string in blackout.
  9. Today
  10. The Real Deal Composite / Carbon go for £€$STUPID... It's an Icon. For use and smoother tuning I recommend fitting F4-10M thrust washers to the tuning screws (as a replacement for the 3 nylon washers on each, but keep em as original bits) like on my Hohner B2 - 4 for about a tenner.
  11. Always been a fan of Moo. They do some interesting ones that the likes of Vistaprint, etc don't do.
  12. It's Bandcamp Friday again. ☺️ Just these two for me today. Mark
  13. With the irony being pretty much all participants are against hatred and intolerance of any shape or form.
  14. Why have they been discontinued though? Twice! Why?
  15. So here it is. Been in its case for last 20 years! They no back plate? Can you get them? Are they going for good money?
  16. It can't hurt to try, if that doesn't imply things it is also worth checking that the ground wire is making contact (I had mine years ago so can't remember what the wiring was like but I would assume that like most basses there is a ground wire under the bridge) single coils are noisy but they shouldn't be unusably so.
  17. It's fair to say it's an absolute plodder of a song. Even if the bass tone were fantastic I doubt I'd listen to it twice.
  18. Slave to the Rhythm - Grace Jones
  19. Hi, does this have the Musashi preamp with stereo aux Input and both standard jack anf headphone out?
  20. Top drawer stuff!!!
  21. All unused, top quality sets. Double ball ends but possibly can be used for shorter basses. 37” length. (I could use the outer strings on my standard scale bass but would rather sell as sets). * Newtone 5 string sets x 6: Diamond Bass, hex core, stainless steel, 46-130, length 37” (ball end to ball end) with tapered B. £25 each (discount for multi purchase) ( I also have a Hot Wires 5 string flat wound set…pm me)
  22. Maybe usable with other similar guitars? Unused so in mint condition. Postage possible…
  23. Have no idea.🤷🏽‍♂️ Not really prepared to mess with anything. A quick clean sale is preferable….
  24. Genuinely think this should be in a player’s tonal chain. Took out on a Jazz/Funk gig and it was smooth as butter!! Almost has me changing my mind…..just too much a luxury with the other stuff that I own and use!!
  25. *PRICE INCLUDES UK POSTAGE * Wicked pedal! Tracks beautifully. Only selling as I’m now using multi-effect unit. In great condition (I may even have original box…can’t find at the moment m). Does an octave below and/or above. Also has an independent boost effect. Blurb here: Octavius tri-tone generator has 4 controls LO OCT, HIGH OCT, MASTER MIX and BOOST. LO OCT knob lets you set the volume of the lower octave signal produced by the pedal. HIGH OCT knob controls the volume of the higher octave signal produced by the pedal. The balance between the levels of these 2 knobs is what creates your particular octave-divided sound. Experiment with your mix, and you’ll be amazed at the variety of effects you’ll get. MASTER MIX knob lets you set the overall volume of your low and high octaves compared to your direct signal. Use the BOOST knob to control the output of your octave-divided sound. The boost function lets you dial in a solo level, whether the overdrive circuit is activated or not.
