  1. Past hour
  2. Must agree with @Stub Mandrel above. A deaf person running for a bus would be hard-pushed to tell the difference. If I need an oscilloscope to pick between them, the punters down the Maggot and Corpse won't notice either.
  3. Analog cab simulation, very tweakable, includes adjustable HPF, EQ, it works as a headphone amp, and with TS and balanced XLR outputs. Great condition, just a bit dusty...
  4. The title tune is stunning, Dave.
  5. One of the best tracking octavers I've tried. Usual OCT1/OCT2 plus blend. Great condition.
  6. Independently footswitchable clean boost + VLE (low pass filter) and VPF (a bit like a 'contour' control, scooping mids while boosting low/highs). Standard TS output plus balanced DI output (XLR). Original MarkBass power supply included (but it works fine on standard 9V supplies - I used it for years with a T-Rex Junior supply, you just get a bit more headroom if powwered at 12V) Bypass can be buffered or true-bypass (switch at the bottom).

  7. Classic bass synth pedal. It's seen a lot of action and it has a few marks and scratches, but it's only cosmetic.
  8. I confirm the box/papers exist and will be included
  9. It's bad enough shouting for "Panda", "Pandora" would be dreadful!
  10. Hi, nice selection of pedals. Is any postage to UK included at all please? Peace.
  11. You won’t be disappointed.
  12. Unfortunately it has truss rod issues, and it's off to Jon to be reconstructed.
  13. Lovely peppers, but how do these affect your sound?
  14. I recently bought a Shuker Uberhorn at the Gardiner Houlgate auction. Lovely instrument, 5 string fretless, although it's 35" scale but I can live with that. However the action is stupidly high, because the neck is bowed. A 4mm allen key is too small, so I contacted Jon to ask his advice. He said he used to use ABM truss rods with 5mm adjuster - I couldn't get a 5mm allen key in without cutting it down, so I got one off Ebay and cut it down. I could get it to the end of the truss rod but it wouldn't fit in properly. So today I took it up to Jon and he had a look at it. The adjuster nut has been somewhat mullered, but a different sized allen key did move it, but it also wasn't in the right position and Jon thought that tightening the truss rod any further was likely to break it. So he's going to dismantle it and replace the truss rod with a 4mm one (as God intended), and while he's there make it 34" scale. I'm also going to have a choice of material for the replacement fingerboard, and ebony is very tempting rather than the composite fingerboard currently on it.
  15. It really does have that ‘50s/‘60s bass of the future look.
  16. That is the spirit, but it is hard. Luckily our singer can summon the energy to put the same level of performance on to a single person or a crowded pub. No, its an on/off thing. This friday was like this, heaving on the friday and practically empty on the saturday. Actually I kind of prefered that as I was pretty tired on the saturday and didn't want to have another stage crush But I have done the same venue on two different nights, one when you couldn't move and the other where you couldn't see anyone - depends on what else is on, whether people have been paid, the weather and just wether people feel like coming out or not.
  17. I recently got this in a trade and as lovely as it is, I could do with generating some cash. USA Musicman Stingray short scale in a gorgeous metallic deep red colour. The bass is very light (3.5kg/7.8lb), is exceptionally well built, feels fantastic and is so easy to play! It comes with La Bella flats fitted and some rounds in the case. It comes with the wonderful scaled-down Musicman hard case that fits the bass perfectly. Collection from Margate, or I can box it up if you'd like to organise a courier.

  18. Just listened with headphones and it’s subtle but the 64 for me, it let me go to his next video with the 3 P basses, the 67 sounds amazing
  19. I used to buy a copy with some of the earnings from my two paper rounds, the rest was saved until I could afford my first bass.
  20. I was up in Morecambe last week to give this a try. Sounded excellent! It's got some proper mojo. I had been concerned about the damage on the back of the neck but you cant feel it at all, or at least I couldn't. I opted to go with a 74 I found at a dealer. GLWTS mate, somebody needs to give this a good home!
  21. But now I am thinking about it, the Jad Freer Capo has become my single point of failure in this setup - perhaps I need a second spare preamp pedal just in case 🤔
  22. Beautifully crafted delay pedal from Walrus Audio, tactile, with a really intuitive control set … feature rich, but simple to use. It’s a piece of kit that invites creativity. Works very well with bass guitar. No mud at all. The quality in this pedal is obvious to the ear … But hey, there are many fine words about the Arp87 around internetland if you do some trawling. Royal Mail ‘Signed For’ postage is included in price (UK only). TRADE OPTIONS * : Dunlop DVP4 Mini MXR Bass Envelope Filter EBOW Plus ( * cash adjustment as necessary)
  23. It’s a thick, gnarly, and harmonically rich fuzz … Based on the Tall Font Green Russian/ Civil War Muff circuit … So strong with that mix friendly mid character, and retaining the low end that makes this particular Muff so bass-friendly. This one is indeed bass friendly. There’s something more to this pedal though. The secret sauce is in the tone sweep. As DBA put it … “A specially designed multi-curve shaping filter which changes the timbre of the pedal from super deep bass sludge to screaming highs”. This makes for something more versatile than your average 3-knob Muff, sure. It’s killler. Plenty love for it out there anyway. Check the reviews. 24. If you like drones, long, Indefinitely held notes or passages, to sculpt, build and move between layers, morph ambient textures … in their own right, to solo over, or to underpin a multi layer bass part … Then one of these is worth looking at. It does everything the Freeze does, but so much more. Most notable for me was its own effects loop, and the possibilities for signal chain placement and the potentially endlessly added depths to the frozen effect that the loop affords, whilst keeping your realtime bass licks otherwise unaffected, if so desired. The options and degree of functionality are wild. It’s an extremely versatile and powerful creative tool that opens a world of musical possibilities. Check out the YouTube bass demos, and EHX product info … It’s deep. I must say … I love this pedal, and wouldn’t be selling it had I not recently acquired a Superego + Royal Mail ‘Signed For’ postage is included in price (UK only).
