  2. South West England. Nr Exeter
  3. It finally arrived on May 1st. Great looking and sounding bass. I haven't sold it yet, but I am tempted. The neck is too chunky for my taste. Not as bad as some others I had, e.g a black LT with Fishman Fluence pickups. I am telling myself that I will get used to it, but I just played my Euro Mike Starr signature that has a nice thin neck (probably modeled on Mike's Kramer era NS-2) and it felt sooo much better.
  4. The number 1 song in heaven - Sparks
  5. This is a fantastic deal for someone.
  6. The key update to Source Audio’s Sound Check functionality has now gone live. It’s now possible to create and hear presets in real time for any Source Audio pedal using just the Neuro 3 mobile or desktop app - no pedals or instruments required. This means you can check out in depth how this pedal will function and sound as an aid to determining whether it’d be something you’d use. https://www.sourceaudio.net/soundcheck.html

  9. @pete.young here it is not bolted together, nice colour match of body to neck and nice fit. I'll set it up to test playability if you're liking the look so far? Will look a little tighter once bolted no doubt
  10. In my classic rock band we do the NIN/Numan version of Cars
  11. I've just been reminded I'm seeing the local "community choir" on the 14th June and apparently they are good. Not exactly Bruce Springsteen, but at least it's live music.
  12. I sold my Lego bass to Stew. An easy trade - good communications, turned up as agreed. A+
  13. Mambo Number 5 - Lou Bega
  14. Nice one Chris, I’ve played this a long time ago and it’s quite a tricky one I thought than it first sounds
  15. Ibanez SRMS805, 5 string multiscale, for sale. In good overall condition, the only things to note are: * there are a few marks and scratches on the back of the body ( see photos ) * there’s a screw missing from the B string bridge. No problem when string at tension and probably easy to replace. * there are a couple of tiny dings around the neck and headstock. Very small and nothing that you notice when playing. * A few marks from the strings on the pickup covers. No case or gig bag. Shipping (in an old hard case) can be arranged at buyers expense.
  16. Gary Numan playing a Glastonbury warm up at Cheese & Grain in Frome. The show sold out extremely quickly but its my local venue so I was signed up for presales. I've seen Gary once before as a special guest with Nine Inch Nails and he was extremely good so I'm really looking forward to this one
  17. Last price drop £150!!!
  18. 😂 great stuff! In possible defence of the seller - During my yoof, while giving being an active musician in London a go, I used to sleep on a mattress on the floor in a shared flat. We also used to sit on 2 army mattresses in the lounge because we didn't have any furniture. I may have been living on packets of pasta n sauce but I did have a '78 Rickenbacker and an '86 Stingray! Happy days living like the Young Ones... Could be a similar story, could be BS.
  19. Today
  20. I used to own a squire classic vibe, the 60s version in fiesta red that is well regarded. I later switched to a 50s p bass from the same line - a great guitar, but the neck is like a baseball bat. I'm just wondering which of the sire basses will give me a similar neck profile to the CV 60s fender p bass? That is, more on the shallow end in terms of neck thickness (depth, not width), particularly at the nut.
  21. Had to do insurance pictures, there's some basses in there
