    Indeed. I wasn't looking to buy btw. At the time I'd been looking at the new 4005v basses and that ebay pic/ad popped up. I could see it was a real Ric being passed off as a bass you'd get from the "maker", and it took all of 2 mins to find where they had lifted the photo from. I cheekily asked the "maker" for pics of other colours they do and got this reply: "Hello,friend The actual guitar you receive is same to the photo we listed.if you are interested,you can make an order.Thank you" Nope.

    @three yes - had the work done at a shop in Sevenoaks near where I live. Guy in there has done setup and service on several basses of mine over the years and is meticulous! It plays really nicely

    My understanding is that the former is possible, the latter is not... I'm still not 100% what the 2nd DI is for - but that's because I have never had a need for it. The Basstheworld review is, for me, what sold me on it... I hope it helps you

    Well-used 250w combo with 115 speaker. It’s a bit battered; the vinyl has some small tears; the corner protectors are missing from the top (but the bottoms are in place); the post/pre DI button is missing. But it sounds great and only weighs 17kg!

    I found that really interesting. The valve ( tube) compliment on the old version doesn't mention the 6k11 compactron valve that drives the mid circuit. What valve does that job in the new model? I've owned a couple of v4Bs, of the valve amps I had they worked well for me, paired with a Marshall vbc412 in particular.
