  1. Past hour
  2. Repetition is the key to technique, which is the key to ease, which is the key to expressiveness, which is the key to musical beauty. Piano needs a lot of practice to sometimes achieve a very simple goal, so it's a very demanding instrument. Don't get discouraged, just persevere, play each and every day even if it's only 10 minutes and ask an external ear to assess your progress: You'll be amazed by the very positive answer.
  3. Thanks Dave, I still can’t do much but I’ll take that any day of the week compared to where I was 2/3 years ago. Pain free and pretty decent mobility, if that’s as far as I can go will suit me.
  4. I tell you what, you take the buttons off yours, and I'll send you 5 shiney chrome ones, and a set of nickel vintage tuners, only got 4 though. 😁
  5. No pain is great news for you Lozz. Dave
  6. Apologies for the delayed reply. It's the modern 1.625”. Additonally the hole on the board has been repaired making this a bit of a bargain, Fender Neck, EMG Geezers and under 8lbs
  7. Selling my trusted GK 410 cab which has been in my possession for the last 7 years or so. Powerful, punchy, and light weight with the neodymium magnets. Comes with amp cover. Open to sensible offers, looking to shift this before i move house in March. Collection from SW20 preferred.

  8. Would you trust this site tauzero, iv never baught anything via e-bay from China??,.... they look the part though..... what do ya think?
  9. Something I was putting together as a backup but ended up with something else…… Slab Precision 66 type body. The paint is thin and not the best finish but not embarrassing. I didn’t paint it, it was like that when I bought it from here. It’s fine when it’s dressed up though. The neck pocket is bit oversized but when I fitted the neck (that I bought from here separately) , the holes lined up perfectly. I presume they are drilled for a standard Fender neck fitting. The neck is quite nice. It has Fender decals but it’s not a Fender. The decals have also been lacquered over. It has black Schaller tuners and a Geddy Lee neck plate. I think someone was building a Geddy at some point. The pups are Fender. They came out of a Mex Deluxe I believe. i was going to change the harness as it sometimes makes a crackle noise, not all the time, just now and again. Never got round to it as it’s so infrequent. Plays well enough and the neck is quite skinny. I haven’t weighed it but I would say it’s between 8-8 1/2 pounds. It could be a lot nicer with a bit of tlc but I’m not going to use it now and thought I may as well pass it on to someone. Collection and trial much preferred but I will post if the buyer arranges their own courier. I’ll throw in an old Gator case to ship it in. It’s seen better days so don’t think you are getting a posh new one 🤣 It’s a freebie!

  10. I think this is correct! This week I got quoted roughly 3-3.5k for a 5 string fender shaped object if I were to order it
  11. I know it sounds like a lot but its only 3hrs a week, occasionally a bit more. I found classes just pushed me a bit more than being in the gym on my own. My lower back has always been my weak spot and i've been specifically working on that area As Pete says a couple of sessions a week with lighter weights will produce surprising results quite quickly. Dave
  12. Could do with a photo of the full rear of the body showing the control cavity cover.
  13. Selling my Olinto P-Bass from 2024 in "British Racing Green". I got this bass in a trade a short while ago. It definitely sounds better than my former Fender CS Pino and Sean Hurley, or Moon bass. This one sounds like Freddie Washington’s P-Bass! Awesome fingerstyle and slap tone! However, I already have two other 4-strings that I barely use, so this one has to go. Alder body Roasted maple neck Madagascar rosewood Weight: 3.7–3.8 kg Includes case Sale is made with exclusion of any warranty. No returns, no guarantee. (Partial) trades are not possible! But in this case we have to meet in person! I am interested in Adamovic, Mattison, Yamaha JP/NE, Status, preferably 6-strings. Not interested in Fender, Ibanez, Sandberg or fretless basses. I am always open to sensible offers.

  14. Always loved the RB Duo 2.1 board but hated the lack of a patchbay like its bigger siblings. Did some modding, don’t have a decent work area available so it’s pretty rough but the wonky cuts will be hidden. Gonna finish setting it up later 👌
  15. Not currently on the radar, but I shall!
  16. I would say the only reason they harp on about the 12 vs 10 is because they clearly state they designed the 10 like a more old school driver and the 12 to be as high power, clean and flat as possible. They could have done that the other way round but this is the way they’ve gone and that’s why there is a distinction on their website. IMO it’s not the same as Ashdown (for example) saying a 15 is for the lows and a 10 does mids and highs better. But totally agree that we have to go towards the “what value does this bring you as a player” rather than “you need 15s for low and loud” type spiel
  17. Yes its still here
  18. I didn't,thanks for asking, I ran out if time before Christmas had too much on
  19. I have decided to sell my combo as I barely use it. It was a bit of an impulse purchase around 6 months back that I don't really need as I mostly use my separates. It sounds great, very light and with the removal of 4 screws, the head can be removed and to my great surprise, the amp has a lid, so it can be used separately. I t's a great super lightweight setup with great Markbass tone, and this is the 500W version and not the 300W version that is out there. Its 300W at 8ohm and the full 500W with an additional cab - it is very loud on it's own. It comes with a bonus Markbass channel pedal and mute footswitch and also a Roqsolid cover which has a pocket. Being only 6 months old it's still under warranty. No issues and in fabulous condition. £550 - Collection from Plymouth ideally but happy to discuss couriers at cost to the buyer.
  20. Warwick Thumb NT from 1990 in superb condition with Warwick fitted flight case. This is a nice clean example with minor signs of playing wear under closer inspection, it even still has the little plastic catch on the cover! It plays fantastically well, no dead notes at all, the setup is fantastic at present, it can take a very low action. Weight is 4.5 KG The weight of the flight case alone is nearly 10KG - it’s an absolute bomb-proof beast of a case!! Trial and collection in Cardiff preferred but happy to ship by whichever courier the buyer would prefer. Happy to entertain straight-up trades and trades + cash. Cheers.
  21. I have the 846v and it's luvverly. Spacing is 16.5 on the 5 and the 6.
  22. Good spot, will amend the post! Yup, made on the same line as the Fender Japan basses as I understand it
  23. Hey folks! Love the pedal and all this chatter. Agree with big redx that ideally we could fully close the filter in the editor. There's a whole host of stuff on the wishlist for me, haha, because I'm greedy. But it's already very very good. In an ideal world, having the possibility for accent to modulate the amount of adsr for the vcf would be great too (i.e. implementing some of mod matrix ). I don't think this is currently possible? Elsewhere, I'm trying to trigger some of my analog synths with the pedal but having some difficulty sending midi data. Maybe it's user error 😅 but I have the channels set up right etc and think the patch is properly set up to send midi. Has anyone got a video example of some playing bass through the pedal to trigger an hardware synth? (I.e. without computer). I suppose, perhaps it's better to send CV out to the synths (which would require the panda cable), but I thought I might not need to do that. Thanks all! *Edit maybe only possible to send messages to synths via CV. Which is fine. Just lemme know!
